The staff was very, very nice and pleasant, the accommodation was cool and fairly clean. I was offered a satisfactory continental breakfast. It was in a marvellous location near Rijn. There were bars and restaurants with lots of food.

Regret that we were in a hurry and missed a continental breakfast. It was in a very central setting in the center of the city.

Stunning location so close to near the canal, the centre of beautiful Leiden and the Netherlands, modest and huge rooms. Plenty of goodies for breakfast.

Its location within easy walking distance of a long-established museum was great and beautiful.

The hotel is unique, intimate with captivating canal views. It has beautiful location to see a Japanese cultural center. The property is in historic area, near a picturesque canal in the center of town, near the canal and the main shops.

Very limited breakfast, it should be better.

The units are spotless with an arabic style. Plus, the location is marvellous, minutes from Rijn. I would use them next time, loved the hotel.

This hotel is perfectly located in the city center, right in front of the canal. It's a great value for money with reasonable prices and attention to detail. The staff members are really friendly and helpful, making you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with an Arabian style and a view to the surrounding area.

All was fine, no major issues.

The hotel was within walking distance of everything in Leiden, including the train station. The bathroom was new, clean and well-designed for such an old building. The free breakfast was great!

The building is very old, and the first floor smelled musty. The furniture in the room was pretty beat up, and the carpet was thin, drab and old.

Everything was amazing from the really great service to the brilliant food. Most of the staffs were extremely friendly and efficient. Got reasonably large and well-appointed room with a nice bathroom and an Arabic style had a really nice stay overall. The location was lovely for walking around a Gothic church. I greatly enjoyed a lovely restaurant with a Mexican menu.

Reasonably large hotel units with a private shower and an Arabic style. Lots of goodies for breakfast. All in all lovely and stunning setting short walk to Leiden's old center, the waterfront 10 minutes' walk to the station, shops, eateries and spacious public car park and the two main shopping streets. Also, to the bulb fields. Honestly nothing too much trouble.

Two single rooms at the back not very atmospheric. No in-room drinks like tea or coffee Floors rather squeaky so other guests could be a bit disturbing.
