It is only a few steps away from the Promenade, Davos's elegant shopping street. From there, the free local buses run every few minutes. It is easy to reach the skiing areas using public transport.
The Conference Centre is also within easy walking distance (10-15 minutes).
The famous Panoramaweg mountain footpath passes close to the hotel and the Schatzalp funicular railway up to Thomas Mann's Zauberberg is only a few minutes' walk away.

Davos being situated in the one of the regions of the Alps where the snowfall is most reliable proposes the following for winter sports fans, like four large skiing areas but also a skating rink, three sledging runs, fantastic winter footpaths and numerous cross-country skiing tracks to choose from.
