Hotel Morandi Alla Crocetta Florence - 佛罗伦萨

Good location and the hotel is well located.

Great value in a prime location and the hotel is nicely situated near the Duomo.

The location is close to the Duomo and within walking distance of all of Florence's attractions.

When your taxi pulls up to the front door (don't even think of driving yourself), you will be sure you made a huge mistake; the street is not exactly welcoming, the front not impressive.

Arranged for VERY early morning taxi that we needed to make our flight home.

Fresh flowers in your room, reading material on you bed side table etc.

Splendid little place filled with antiques and personalized touches such as fresh flower in our room, bed time chocolates and even a little book of short stories as reading material on our bed side table.

The room was spacious but we had just come from a hotel in Venice which had beautiful, crisp, high thread count bed linens so the cottage like bed spread was a bit of a step down.

You can almost touch the other side of the room while in bed.

In our room and throughout the hotel we had the pleasure to appreciate real antiques and all the modern conveniences such as wi-fi internet, TV with English channels, a modern bathroom with plenty of hot water and a complete courtesy set.

Great snack bar for breakfast and lunch at end of street on the right corner towards Duomo.

Breakfast is good, but only continental, no cooked food (by the way, breakfast may be worth only just to be served tea and coffee in their wonderful genuine antique silverware).

The staff was very helpful in obtaining restaurant reservations and making suggestions as to good places to eat.

High ceilings were nice and breakfast was very good.

Excellent air conditioning, breakfast is good and even large by European standards.

Staff was always cheerful, the concierge was extremely helpful and professional, the computer in my room worked fine.

Excellent service also from the front desk, the Room is a bit ancient and big.

Perfect place to return to after a day of touring and the front desk staff is very attentive.

They only have one spot in their parking garage and we were lucky enough to get it.

The only drawback is that this hotel is on the second floor and has no elevator.

The tour operator asked where we were staying and when I replied the Morandi alla Crochette, the operator said we could find the tour company's brochure in the lobby.

I learned latter that the pc in the room was wireless but you cannot hook up your own pc to their network).

Moreover nearly all staff have excellent English skills and rooms are clean and comfortable.

It was clean and the room was large with a little patio right outside the room.

We found our room and the rest of the hotel beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean and all gave us the true feel of an old Italian 19th century home.

The hotel itself is intimate and clean, the bathrooms are quite modern.

Lovely hotel walking distance to everything in Florence, delightful staff and fresh flowers in your room.
