Hotel Monna Lisa -Florence City Centre - 佛罗伦萨

Its location is also great, situated extremely close to the duomo.

Well located, the hotel is in a great location on a quieter side street.

Great location, the Monna Lisa is in a lovely neighborhood.

We called the night before our departure to ask about a taxi and how long to allow to get to the airport.

In the morning we waited for the taxi more than 20 minutes and it took double the time they said to get to the airport.

Our room was spacious enough, very tasefully decorated with a really comfortable bed and beautiful linen, a jacuzzi bath and a balcony.

Our rooms were good size and the bathrooms were excellent (though we did make a point to get a room with the jacuzzi bath, as we had read somewhere that it was worthwhile)!

The rooms in the older section were roomy and nice enough, but the bathrooms were so tiny that we would knock the hairdryer off the wall behind us while washing at the sink.

The window could not be opened because the headboard of the tiny, narrow bed was in the way.

The tub would not drain when we took a shower and the curtain did little to contain the water the bathroom was flooded every day.

No need to buy anything from the shop - just go up to the fifth floor on the escalator and ask for the rooftop restaurant/coffee bar.

The Monna Lisa was much more than we anticipated, with a wonderful room accessed through a secret door, a plentiful breakfast, helpful and discreet staff, friendly bar and perfect location.

Gardens, great breakfast, well appointed rooms, cozy bar.

The bar was nice, the mattress was excellent and breakfast was of a high standard.

The bar is in an alcove in a hallway on the way to the breakfast room.

We also very much appreciated the hospitality of the reception staff; they were very kind in helping reserve our museum visits (before we even arrived in Italy) and they also made recommendations and reservations for a fantastic restaurant!

The rooms are comfortable, the staff is very service oriented and the breakfast was excellent.

We received a very warm welcome from the reception staff on duty.

On the positive side the reception staff were really friendly and tried their best, even lending me an adaptor so I could charge my phone.

There was car parking on site, but Florence is not a place to drive in and cars are somewhat of a liability.

Also bear in mind that parking is twenty euros a day and if you are at all nervous about driving in busy cities, or parking in tiny space, then the train is an excellent option!

On street parking is almost impossible in central Florence and this hotel is just 5 minutes walk from "The Duomo".

The bathroom looked okay and the sheets clean, so we just guessed they hadn't quite finished the day before.

The rooms were a nice size, very clean and had a nice atmosphere.

Also bathroom was clean, breakfasts were excellent and the garden was beautiful.

The staff was always courteous and pleasant and the room was very clean.

The bathroom was modern and clean (although we couldn't get the jacuzzi to work).
