Once a government building, this location is now a fun hotel that attracts the younger crowd from the area as well as frequent visitors. It offers easy access to restaurants and museums and has an excellent lobby and outdoor courtyard that you can enjoy your evening meal in. The staff is friendly, and the rooms are very chic and well designed, but be aware they are on the small side.

The four-star Hotel Monaco Washington DC is perfectly situated in the picturesque area of downtown Washington, surrounded by popular tourists’ sites.

This impressive Romanesque Revival style architecture property is housed in the government 19th century building.

The warm and cozy 183 rooms and suites are completed with luxury bath amenities and king size bed.

The on-site dining venue provides refined local and international dishes.

The business center includes modern multi-media and audio-visual equipment, natural lighting, wireless internet access, laptop stations and printer. Three meeting venues can accommodate up to 300 persons.

Such a great hotel, attentive staff and the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom excellent.
The hotel is just across the street from the metro station and a nice Italian restaurant in Dupont Circle is othello's.

Great location, very cool hotel and nice lobby. The staff were very friendly, concierge was also helpful and checkout was simple and pleasant. Our room was large, good restaurants were everywhere and the free wine tasting in the evenings were excellent.

Public areas and guest rooms are really nice and clean, the hotel is located in a very convenient location, the front desk is super friendly and helpful. The restaurant has excellent reasonably priced food, and the bar is big and hopping.

Its the perfect location in dc doing the tourist thing and very cool place. Great service, big Rooms and and a nice bar, as well as an outside courtyard. Food for our complimentary goldfish and free wine and snacks.

Fantastic location and modern Decor. The staff were attentive and nice, the bed comfy the ceilings were at least 20 feet high, the Poste restaurant had great food and reasonable prices for DC. The afternoon cookies and the wine in the evening were all lovely touches.
