Hotel Miro Bilbao - 毕尔巴鄂

Fabulous location close to the Guggenheim and the hotel is extremely modern.

The location is superb, the hotel is beautifully designed and the staff didn't really speak English.

Taxis into Bilbao from the airport were really quick making it seem as if we'd hardly spent any time at all getting there.

A 5 to 10 minute walk to the bus stop for the bus to the airport.

Nice cosy beds, rooms on the front have great views, flat screen TV and DVD player in room, stylish bathrobes and great bath accessories.

I asked if the room had a bath and they said it didn't but that if I wished they could bring a bathtub for the baby, which they did.

Bathroom was small but modern and functional - shower, no tub but with a separate toilet.

The hotel is very swanky don't let the comments about the curtain seperating the room and the bathroom - its cool to be able to chat while you are putting your make up on and the toilet is seperate.

When I came back to my room in the evening my bed was turned down and there were slippers laid out for me.

Although the hotel has no restaurant as such, the bar served remarkably good food and also had a good range of reasonably priced wines.

The only negatives I can say about this hotel is that it doesn't have a propper restaurant (the bar has snacks and a limited menu).

The front desk staff is efficient and helpful, most restaurants are closed on Sunday but the front desk person suggested a Paella restaurant that was excellent.

Speaking of food, the meals available at the bar are ample and relatively inexpensive.

I can also recommend a great restaurant near the hotel, just past the Guggenheim, called Tapelia, which specialises in rice dishes (15 kinds of paella!

Reception staff were very good and made recommendations for us.

The reception/lobby area is very comfortable and the staff are genuinely very helpful.

Quiet location very central, nice modern hotel and reception staff were very good.

Trendy "hammam" on basement level with spa/steam room and a nicely equipped gym.

The shower was just right, the jacuzzi/whirlpool in the spa at the Miro was an absolutely wonderful spot to relax at the end of the day and feeling a little stressed from driving in we were welcomed by free snacks.

Best of all was the spa downstairs, which we tried out one evening after it had rained and we were cold.

Wireless internet - was listed at 8 euros a day but no mention was made of charging for it on check out, so free!

The room was spacious, immaculately clean and had all the facilities you would need.

Our room (63) was comfortable, clean, modern and stylish.

This hotel is really excellent, staff is friendly and helpful, the room is clean.

Definitely very clean and spacious, our rooms were minimalist yet very comfortable.

I was moved to a non-smoking room the next day which was much more pleasant and clean.
