In my triple room, there was a modern vibe with a great view 😊. The beautiful scenery outside was a big plus. The bathroom was really nice too, with a shower, hairdryers, and even a bidet available for use.

This modern place is well-suited for me, with the added bonus of coffee and tea for breakfast, and the central location close to main attractions, shopping, and restaurants.

The room we had included a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a fridge, and tea/coffee making equipment.

The convenient and ideal location of this place, just a 10-15 minute walk from a seasonal museum and close to a train station, made it a great choice.

my second stay in yamagata was unforgettable. metropolitan exceeded my expectations with its beautiful reception and spacious rooms. the location was perfect, with easy access to the train station and delicious breakfast options. highly recommended!

Laundry machine locked, inconvenient for others.

The room was contemporary and reasonably large with coffee & tea makers and a fridge. A hot tub in the private bathroom was a plus. The location was magnificent in the train station.

Internet was terrible, made me a little nervous.

First of all, the location of this hotel is absolutely amazing, right inside the JR station. It doesn't get more convenient than that. Additionally, the staff at this hotel went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. They were friendly, helpful, and could speak fluent English. The rooms were also quite nice, with large windows offering a great view of the station forecourt. Plus, the daily breakfast provided was delicious, with a good variety of options to choose from.

All in all, everything about this hotel was great. Nothing to complain about!

We would definitely visit this hotel again. The venue met all of our criteria. We are so glad we chose it as a chilled-out base for our stay in Yamagata. We booked a table at Mogami-tei, their onsite restaurant. Additionally, we were pleased to find that there was private parking available and high-speed internet access.

This made it a perfect base for day trips and allowed for easy access to transportation. Additionally, the rooms were lovely with large windows that provided a fantastic view of the station forecourt. It was a treat to wake up to such a picturesque scene every morning. The attention to detail in the rooms was also evident, with everything kept clean and neat. Lastly, the breakfast options were great, offering a choice between Japanese and Western sets. The food was delicious and a perfect start to the day.

All in all, my stay at this hotel was a pleasant one and I couldn't find anything to fault.

The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, as it is situated inside the Yamagata JR station building. You don't even have to step out onto the street to find it! The rooms at this hotel are very spacious and comfortable, with two queen size beds for double occupancy. The large windows offer lovely views of the mountains and the station forecourt. I really appreciated the fact that the hotel offers the same daily breakfast, with the option of either a Japanese or Western style set. The breakfast was delicious and served in different restaurants.
