Hotel Metropole Lisbon - 里斯本

The Hotel Metropole is located on Rossio Square in the oldest part of Lisbon and what a magnificent location it is.

Great location, gorgous view, bath need improve but I love the location close to everywhere and good price.

The location of this hotel could not be better.

Only E8 from the airport by taxi and right in the centre of town, this hotel couldn't have been a better choice.

Taxi from airport was a good idea depite 20 euro price - we might have searced a long time for the entrance to this hotel on the.

Our room was a triple, with 2 single beds (comfortable) + a camp bed (also comfortable, considering).

Twin room was well kept and much larger than expected (you get two Fully separate beds - not inches apart as in some hotels) with new tv, mini bar and nice furniture.

They were kind enough to offer us a room immediately (unfortunately, the bed was too small).

The rooms are a bit dated and the carpet is worn, it was a large clean room and the bathroom was very nice and spacious.

The beds (we changed rooms) are the worse we stayed in and the bathrooms have no amenities at all.

Friendly and helpful staff, lovely views from the dining area / bar / lounge across the square up to the castle.

The hotel is also right next door to several restaurant/cafes, where you can enjoy a reasonably priced meal.

Eat-all-you-like breakfast to set you up for the day.

The daily breakfast was good and everything was hot and fresh.

The hotel is well situated - lots of restaurants and convenience of nearby frequent transport.

Helpful staff will assist, the femail receptionist is very friendly and the room is very comfy & clean.

The reception staff was very friendly and helpful.

The front desk staff were very helpful and all seemed to speak fluent English.

Free wifi on reception, the employees were very helpful and attentive, the room was big enough.

This was a perfect place to stay-- 6 blocks from the river, two blocks to the train station to Sintra, two blocks to the Figureou station and the tram to Belem, three blocks to the lift to the Barrio Alto and dinner.

Great terrace to have a glass of port and watch the sunset.

The bathrooms also are very clean and comfortable.

Our room was very clean and we had no complaints about the hotel at all.

Great room overlooking Rossio Square, very clean, excellent friendly, helpful staff.

The room was clean though it was a bit small, but just enough for what we needed.
