The location was also nice and centrally located in Mid-Town.

The hotel is perfectly located in an excellent location, a quick 5 second walk to the 35th subway, minutes from Macy's and within walking distance to all the shops and surrounding cafe's in Herald Square and 10minutes walk to Times Square.

Located between 5th and 6th Ave, this hotel has a great location.

I won't go on for too much longer but make sure you book a return to the airport as getting back to airports in a taxi run on the meter and are expensive and may not be available.

The reception staff were very helpful friendly and knowledgeable and more than happy to answer any questions about subway stops, attractions, fares, even recommending cheap airport transport options.

We booked the suite that includes one large room with two queen beds, another bedroom with one queen bed, and one bathroom.

Eating & drinking - there are 3 Oriental Restaurants, 2 Irish Restaurant/Bars on hotel block and 1 Irish Restaurant/Bars directly opposite, also a McDonalds round the corner and Macy's Basement Bar & Grill too!

The lobby is nice, it has a restaurant and a bar, and the continental breakfast and the room it was in was great.

The free breakfast is served in a nice business lounge, the staff is courteous, the Metro Grill and Bar attached to the lobby is good, but the best part of the hotel is the 12th floor rooftop deck (seasonal of course.

The continetal breakfast is good value and the restaurant serves good value and well prepared meals each night.

The Irish bar/restaurant (the one a few doors away on the same side of the street) is good fun and has good food.

The reception staff were always willing to help with queries and booked us some tours and the airport taxi service with no problems.

The reception staff/concierge were very friendly and helpful ,always enquiring if we needed any directions etc.

For the fitness fans out there, you can exercise in the hotel's gym, that is located next to the terrace.

Small but adequate fitness area on penthouse for those who want to lift some weights or do some treadmilling.

My room was on the 2nd floor and so most of the time I just took the stairs from the lobby but whenever I wanted to use the elevators, they were very fast and I didn't have to spend much time waiting.

There is free high-speed wireless, and a safe.

High speed Internet was faster than dial-up, but not by much.

Rooms were clean and fresh and had a safe at no extra cost.

The hotel was very clean and the rooms were comfortable.

The rooms are somewhat small, but still comfortable, adequate and clean.

The room itself was large, clean and the fridge was handy for keeping cold drinks.
