For $900/night (2004) this was by far the worst hotel value ever.

The location is ideal : quiet and the buildings are lovely.

Insufficient hot water for 2 baths, great outdoor jacuzzi and a very comfortable bathtub.

There is no alarm clock (only the clock on the 13” TV), no CD player and the bed mattress is broken.

When filling the hot tub, the water has a sulfur smell, and on multiple occasions there was only enough hot water for one bath.

There is no stand up shower in the master bathroom, and the hot tub is the only area where one can clean.

It was noisy, beds uncomfortable, clients smoking in the quiet area, no water, no amenities to speak of.

The whole is staff is fantastic, the bar upstairs is charming and food is of very high level : excellent breakfast.

The Restaurants The lunch and dinner restaurants are fairly good, but smoking is prevelant and there are no choices for those who prefer a light meal.

Also kitchen smells all day long, a very comfortable bathtub and food is of very high level : excellent breakfast.

Service is very kind and the bar upstairs is charming.

Restaurant excellent and beautiful creative dinner.

Conclusion: extremely beautiful hotel, attentive staff and good concierge.

The staff were good, the concierge was wonderful and at any rate our room was spacious.

Pool, etc The pool was fairly small, the indoor jacuzzi tub was also small and only about 85 degrees F.

In addition, both the pool and jacuzzi were constantly filled with toddlers (under 3 years old) making any kind of relaxation impossible.

Spa was the worst we have tried, nowhere near world-class anything.

At 5 minutes walking distance from the cosy shopping area of Megeve and a lovely village. Conclusion: extremely beautiful hotel, attentive staff and good concierge. The rooms were charming and the breakfast buffet had a great choice.
