Hotel Maxim Verona - 维罗纳

Quiet location and good well-located hotel.

Shuttle bus to l'Arena for the Opera was a great facility and the location was good in terms of driving in from Venice.

Good location between town center and nice hotel.

A taxi will cost you 10 euro to the centre, from the airport a taxi costs about 30-35 euro for the 15-min journey.

Local buses are handy to take you into city or to the central bus/train station, i used my car to go to the centre of Verona and the excellent value for money deal.

Rooms were massive and clean with very comfortable bed and bath.

The room was very clean and large, the bathroom had a bath and a shower, and extras such as a washing line and hairdryer.

Breakfast was good, room was large with a very large bathroom too with bath and separate shower.

Near to the city 5min, hotel is clean and bath tub that I would love to have used I had more time.

The hotel offered bed and breakfast at an amazing rate.

We couldn't find any nice looking restaurants nearby so ate in the hotel restaurant one evening.

The restaurant was also excellent and good value for evening meals.

The breakfast selection was one of the best we have come across including a variety of juices, hot and cold drinks, hot food, cereals, biscuits, crackers, pastries, fruit (fresh and canned) etc.

Breakfast was superb with lots on offer and plenty to keep you going to lunch if you have big pockets ; ).

There were a few other shops such as a chemist, and restaurants within a 10 min walk of the hotel, but nothing exciting.

Very helpful hotel staff, reception very supportive and the room was clean and.

The staff spoke very good English, were helpful and provided a map of Verona as well as details of the bus service into town and journey times.

The staff were friendly & most spoke good english but when i asked the receptionist about the parking outside, she shrugged & said I should look at the signs.

The hotel arranged for a shuttle bus to and from the opera which solved the problem of getting back to the hotel at 2.

Parking outside the door and if full, park on the street.

It's not in the centre of town and it's more of a business hotel than a romantic hotel - but if you want somewhere to stay with parking, with a good bus route, to give you the opportunity to see Verona on a budget then this is the hotel for you.

Additionally the Maxim Staff is incredible, rooms are spacious and clean, the Hot Buffet Breakfast is varied - eggs.

Good $ value, great service and the rooms simple and clean.
