Hotel Luna Convento Amalfi - 阿马尔菲

The hotel pool with its location down close to the sea, with only a few steps down to the water was memorable, and the pool served the best mozzarella sandwiches ever.

The location is superb, away from the hustle bustle of Amalfi town but close enough for an evening stroll or to walk down for a mid morning cappuccino in the square.

The location of this hotel couldn't be better.

We booked a transfer from the Naples airport through the hotel and found it to be pricier than booking a cab independently.

Even though the hotel was visible from the port, it is uphill on the narrrow main road without a pavement, so we got a taxi.

The bathroom off of the bedroom had beautiful tile, with a neat rounded shower AND and a tub on legs.

The room we had, I can't speak for any others, was modest in size but very pleasant, in particular the bed was large and very comfortable.

Our room was a superior with sea view and for EUR270 per night we had two single beds pushed together and the bathroom was really shabby with inadequate lighting and a scalding hot ancient shower.

Beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was well stocked with large towels and toiletries.

The furniture within the room was shabby and the bathroom pokey.

Unusually for us, because the food was good and the views are the best in town, we ate at the hotel restaurant on 3 of the nights and also enjoyed the breakfast buffet - although our daughters never did get there in time!

Furniture in the restaurant was outdated and shabby and we decided not to eat in the main hotel other than to take breakfast.

Peppe looks after the pool area is friendly and helpful, the hotel is in a fantastic position on the headland, the restaurant is good - breakfast.

Bathroom was fine, the restaurant offered a high standard of cuisine.

Both restaurants offer good examples of Italian cuisine.

The service was top-notch - everyone from the front desk, wait staff, pool staff, to the hotel manager (who was our favorite).

Painted a spectacular sea storm from my room at the warm of the chimney, the interior courtyard by the front desk is magnificent and the staff is excellent.

Furthermore the hotel is beautiful, his staff are also fabulous and the concierge is extremely helpful.

Superb location, great setting and the excellent service by staff.

The pool is another treat at Luna Convento.

It just felt like they actually really cared - when we came down in the morning everyone smiled and congratulated us again - even the guy at the pool had saved us the best loungers for the day to recover!

Comfortable chairs line the pool and are situated around the rocks down by the sea.

Our spotlessly clean room was quite small, but the view from the rather spacious terrace was amazing - again one needs to remember the origins of this hotel!

The staff were lovely, the room was clean and the food was very good.

The rooms were very clean and breakfast included in the price was excellent- lots of choice- hot.
