If staying at this hotel I would recommend you pay the small additional price for a sea view room.

If I returned to this hotel I'd definitely pay the extra for a sea facing view.

Location was excellent and the hotel was exactly we were looking for I read in the Sunday.

Great position, nicely situated facing the sea and hotel very clean & in a good location.

Very quiet location, les Brises also benefited from an underground free car park and enjoyed great fun cycling all about the town.

One sleeping room had a queen size bed, dresser, and a chair, the other had a pair of murphy beds (that flip down from the wall) and two comfortable sitting chairs.

Rooms nice size, well decorated, good quality furniture, good firm large beds with clean crisp linen.

The rooms are very basic, the bathrooms are dull and if you dont have a room overlooking the sea then the view is terrible.

Rooms were spotlessly clean, beds very comfortable with bedding changed frequently.

The room was pristinely clean and the bathroom was immaculate.

No meals other than continental breakfast- freshly squeezed orange juice, great coffee and croissants but it's not a problem there are many good restaurants nearby.

Very friendly staff breakfast good nice walk to restaurants balcony & sunloungers good.

The lights twinking in the distance - romantic is that, they have also nice terrasse one can eat breakfast.

There are no formal dining room/restaurent facilities so breakfast is the only meal served, hence the walk to town for our evening meal.

The staff friendly, clean patio furniture on balcony and extremely good selection of food at breakfast.

Nice location, clean Hotel and reception staff were friendly.

Staff really friendly & helpful, very polite receptionist and the room was pristinely clean.

Also, when we arrived, the staff on reception were very unwelcoming and unfriendly.

My traveling companions made the reservations, so I didn't have any contact with the front desk except to come down at 2 AM to request two pillows for the murphy beds.

Lift to all floors, fire and safety procedures concise and well placed.

    Good view from balcony and the underground parking is safe & secure & the staff are very helpful. The hotel is pleasant and loved the sound of the ocean outside my room window. The lights twinking in the distance - romantic is that, they have also nice terrasse one can eat breakfast.

    Location was excellent and the hotel was exactly we were looking for I read in the Sunday Times about La Rochelle as a short break. The suite was designed in such a way as to traverse the length of the building, the staff were so helpful and friendly, check-in was hassle free. Rooms were spotlessly clean and the breakfast was simple.

    The location is great and this hotel is very clean and bright. The staff could not have been more helpful and kind, the room is quite nice, no complaints about the breakfast - not the most exciting I have ever had.

    Very quiet location, les Brises also benefited from an underground free car park and enjoyed great fun cycling all about the town. The welcome was friendly and felt at home straight away. Service was good and we had a lovely room that overlooked the water. Les 4 Sergents for our anniversary meal - was the most wonderful meal we had in La Rochelle, they spoke English better than my French.

    Nice views and through a pleasant park alongside the sea so no big problem. Good quality furniture and convenient to main roads. Staff really friendly & helpful, very polite receptionist and the room was pristinely clean. The buffet breakfast was well presented.

    The view is great, the hotel is a pleasant twenty-minute walk from the old port and the staff is absolutely lovely - helpful. The rooms are very clean and breakfast is very tasty.
