Our experience is that well known hotel-chains are much more value for the money.
This hotel is like so many other in Athens highly overpriced, run down and a sad experience.
The Hotel is located in excellent location: few steps of Omonia Sqware in the center of Athens that has metro, stores, markets, everything you need.
The only plus side about this hotel was its location and also its proximity to the metro.
It`s location next to the Metro and transit is ideal.
In a reasonably good location, the Hotel overlooks Ommonia Square and rooms are nice.
While the hotel is very close to the Metro station, it is one of the worse we stayed in, in our trip.
床上和墙上有很多“神秘”的污迹.
浴室看上去也不干净,还没有肥皂.
地板和墙壁到处脏兮兮,我房间里的墙上还有血迹,粪便,精液,涂鸦和其他不明液体.
窗外还有一卷用过的卫生纸扔在墙上.
我们窗外是个垃圾场,全是屎尿厕纸,宾馆外面到处都是这样的墙.
Breakfast was a mish-mash of what appeared to be leftovers from another hotels previous breakfasts.
Anyway breakfast was not that bad and I can say the same about dinner, even if it was repetitive and seemed to be composed of cooked for a brief time food.
We found the best restaurant to the left of the hotel (when you are walking OUT) - I think it is called Athinas.
People there were very unpleasant, for food j had to wait 30 minutes.
The staff was surly and unhelpful and could care less if they waited on you or not.
Generally I do quite a bit of research before reserving our hotels.
Only thing - if you make your reservations over the internet, remember to bring your confirmation with you.
The elevators worked terribly and tended to close as you were trying to get out of them, and a sign was posted mentioning that less people than the weight restriction should be in them which was worrisome.
For the most part it was easier to walk the seven floors than to take a chance on the elevator that seldom, if ever, worked.
Represents superb value for money and the rooms were very clean.
