We had a great stay at A & O in Berlin. The receptionist was friendly and efficient, handling a busy check-in process with ease. The room was comfortable, clean, and had a pleasant temperature. The hotel also provided free WiFi, which was a bonus. We had no issues with parking in the quiet area. It was also accommodating for our dog, with a small additional fee. a nice place to stay in Berlin.

The unexpected amazing experience

Not so good

The location was great, the breakfast - good and plentiful. There is a bus connection on the other side of the street and the property is in about 700m to the S-Bahn stop.

For a hostel the equipment was ok.

During my Christmas stay, I really appreciated the friendly staff who were always willing to help and had a positive attitude. The rooms were kept very clean, which was a big plus. the hotel was conveniently located near a tram station, making it easy to access the city center.

The lack of soundproofing in the rooms, as it could get noisy at times. Finally, the hotel seemed to cater mostly to school groups and young travelers, which created a bit of chaos in the lobby.

I gotta say, we really got our money's worth at A & O. The room was super comfy and the service staff were lovely. Plus, the location was great for exploring the city and the front desk was super helpful.

The breakfast could have been better with more variety.

The hotel is a far city located hotel with hundreds of rooms. The worst thing is it Internet Access. It uses an Internet service provider named DaPhix Hotspot which is the worst Internet service I have ever seen. I paid 25 Euros for 3 different voucher, but could NOT get connected easily even for 1 hour. Their authentication server was almost always down or hanged, no body was inside the company to even restart the system!

We stayed at A&O for a family trip and had a great time. Our kids loved the bunk bed in the spacious and clean family room. The location was perfect, just a 5-minute walk to the tram. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The playroom for the kids was a big hit, and we appreciated the convenience of the automatas in the reception hall for snacks and toiletries. We even got an early check-in, which was a nice surprise. a simple and enjoyable stay.

Good value for money. Very well connected to Berlin city center by S- Bahn. Possibility to buy the "berlin welcome card" and tourist info directly at the Hotel.

A small shared corridor between two different rooms separates the bedroom from the bathroom.

There is little bit far to city center. Rooms are so small for 4 people. Cound not move inside of the room.

As a family, our stay at A&O was enjoyable and exceeded our expectations. The rooms were spacious and exceptionally clean. The kids' play area downstairs was a great bonus, providing a space for them to burn off energy without disturbing other guests. The hotel's convenient location near bus and tram stops made traveling around the city easy and convenient. Additionally, nearby shops like Aldi and Woolworths were a major convenience during our stay.
