Hotel Juliani Saint Julian's - St Julians

We would recommend this hotel for its excellent location, bus stops were situated accross the road and bars and resturants nearby.

Excellent location, right next to restaurants, cafes and bars, with a bus stop right across the street to meet all your site seeing needs.

Its location is perfect, close to loads of great restaurants and bars with easy access to public transport.

We were met at the airport by a taxi that we'd booked with the hotel online.

The most convenient way to/from the hotel to the airport was by taxi which in my opinion was very expensive for a 15-20 minute drive (8.

The room was large and beautifully furnished, with a sitting area, very comfortable double bed and a whirlpool in the bathroom.

It was a good sized room, with a big bed and a living-room area, and a television at each end.

Our room had two balconies, one from bathroom, one from bedroom, both "inland views" which unfortunately means views of back street and (not too intrusive) building work going on there.

Our room was a Junior Suite which was huge with a excellent jacuzzi bath.

As far as we could make out all the rooms had sea views and our regular room was bigger than the Juliani junior suite and €55 a night cheaper.

The food is the restaurants is good especially the 'Zest' where the knowledgeable restaurant manager was more than happy to stop and give me a lesson in eating with chopsticks.

Because of the breakfast and the poor service with cranky waiters we didn't waste our time or money by eating at the hotel's restaurants (which are not cheap).

The food in the hotel is really outstanding - there are 2 restaurants and a cafe, and we tried the cafe daily, and the restaurant downstairs, which was exceptional, and reasonably priced, but very busy so book ahead.

Spacious reception also houses a coffee bar/bar/breakfast area and fine dining at reasonable prices.

With respect to the two restaurants we passed enjoyable evenings selecting and eating the excellent European and Eastern cuisine.

Service was fantastic, my room was very comfortable and the staff we very attentive the first night the food was amazing.

Reception staff was very nice, late checkout was no problem and disappointing considering the price we paid for the suite.

The friendly & helpful service at the reception & at breakfast was first class.

If you decide to brave the Maltese traffic and roads, the hotel has free car parking (though we advise booking ahead) but it’s also close to stops for one of Malta’s characterful buses into Valletta and elsewhere.

The most attractive feature is the roof-top terrace with pool, serving good middle of the road food with a beautiful view over the bay.

There is a pool and a sun terrace but these were pretty much out of action for the duration of our stay.

The hotel has wireless free of charge which makes it perfect for business travelers.

The beds were so comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean.

Although we were slightly delayed in getting checked in (previous guests had not checked out in time) we were eventually shown to our room (I think it was 407) which was very clean and met all of our requirements.

Room is clean, and the cleaning lady would leave us chocolates at times.

Staff were friendly, very clean bathroom was plenty big enough and veg dish that was superb.

An accommodating staff that shamelessly spoil the clientele and the rooms are clean and modern.
