We loved the retro furnishing and the immaculate condition of the property. The 2 free EV chargers were a great bonus for us as longer term business travelers.

The rooms were recently refurbished and had comfortable beds with soft pillows. The staff were friendly and helpful, trying their best to communicate in English. The restaurant provided a fine dining experience with excellent food and a lovely view over the small harbor.

The pictures on the website were not representative of the actual rooms, and the hotel did not live up to its 5-star rating. Some parts of the room looked shabby and the bathroom had a leaking shower.

A good value stay : 109€ including breakfast. Rooms are generously sized, clean and with a lovely view over the lagoon and out to sea. Location is good, at the quieter southern end of town, drive further south and you get to a nature reserve and the beach is less groomed but lovely for walk. Beautiful views inland to Mont Canigou and across the bay to Argeles and Collioure. A really lovely spot for a break.

The staff here were exceptional, ensuring that our luxurious needs were fulfilled with prompt, attentive service at the Spa & wellness centre. Our room had exclusive amenities, with a relaxing massage options and a charming garden area. We enjoyed a delicious in-room breakfast and even a Special diet menu was available upon request. The location advantages were endless, with a beautiful outdoor swimming pool and direct beach access, complete with beach umbrellas.

The only minor issue was the service at the poolside snack bar, which could have been more prompt and efficient. However, this did not detract from the overall wonderful experience.

The meal in the restaurant hotel was superb, but it would also have been nice to choose from a cheaper option, ie bar meal etc on the other days of our visit

A minor point - the shower was quite small and leaked onto bathroom floor.

Our second stay, no restaurant Mon or Tuesday emphasises the issue, which is you have limited fine dining when open or nothing. The hotel is not that close to other facilities. The access road is a mess, especially after rain. The staff excellent but the 4 star classification if wrong, needs upgrade and 24 hour catering to satisfy the needs of guests.

our recent stay in saint-cyprien was pure bliss. relais et chateaux exceeded all expectations. from the moment we checked in with a glass of sparkling wine, to our stunning suite with a deck leading to the water, everything was perfect. the food, service, and even a private wine tasting made this a dream escape from city chaos. already planning our return!
