Hotel Il Guelfo Bianco Florence - 佛罗伦萨

LOCATION: Located only a 5 minute walk up from the Duomo and close the San Lorenzo makes it a great location.

The hotel is situated in a great location; convenient for the city centre attractions as well as transport links.

Only five minute walk to the Central Market area and the hotel is situated in a great location.

They were able to provide us with a train schedule and a taxi to the station.

We flew into Pisa and took the airport bus as the trains were on strike, this worked reasonable well.

The room we stayed was large enough for the three of us and all beds were comfortable, even the sofa bed.

It has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a small kitchen, and a large living/dining room with what appears to be a twin sleeper.

The room had a king sized bed, large upholstered chair and a writing desk.

The first room that I was provided did not have a bath tub, which is totally fine to many people, but to me, I really wanted to stay in a room with a nice bath tub so that I could relax at the end of the day.

Room 339 was a great room, virtually a suite with a very nice bathroom.

We didn't need a restaurant after that, so we went to a fine little wine bar called Coquinarius in the Via delle Oche.

The breakfast was good with many choices and a helpful staff that would make you coffees, our room was always tended to and they had a bar to have a happy hour or get some wine in the evening.

In particular recommendations for places to eat have been the best I have experienced and I discovered some very good restaurants in the vicinity.

It was a really cute place in a centralized location, down the block from the Duomo and the many shops and restaurants and a few blocks from the Accademia with Michaelangelo's David.

Eating out: We could not believe how many good quality restaurants were close to the hotel.

The location was great and the hotel staff provided excellent service.

The service staff were really good, courteous (beyond what I would have been, after witnessing one group checking in) and helpful for local restaurant suggestions.

Front desk staff can't be faulted on helpfulness, charm and local knowledge.

There is an elevator that goes from the lobby to the 2nd floor and then you walk up a small flight of stairs to another elevator which takes you to the third floor apt.

The person who said there was no elevator must have stayed at a different hotel, because this hotel definitely has a working elevator.

The hotel was full of a rude and unruly group of doctors who partied in both the lobby and the courtyard until the wee-hours.

The service was excellent and the room was spacious and clean.

Our room was very spacious and clean, with a beautiful view of Via Cavour, Il Duomo, and the Campanile di Giotto.

Immaculately clean bathroom and delicious breakfast.

Not only was the building nice on the outside, but it was even more beautiful in the inside, there were many paintings all around the hotel, the rooms are wonderful and VERY clean.

The rooms in the hotel are extremely cozy and were ALWAYS clean and well kept.
