Overview

The luxurious Husa Guadalmedina Hotel is located in the historical and commercial centre of Malaga, next to the Jardines de Picasso Park and in front of the Centro de Arte Contemporaneo Gallery.

This modern and comfortable four-star city hotel was newly built and opened in 2008. The venue provides a restaurant, a lovely terrace with solarium, an outdoor Jacuzzi and a private guest garage.

The Husa Guadalmedina comprises 58 standard rooms and two superior rooms which feature modern design and comfort. All of the rooms have a spacious corridor in the entrance from where the bathroom is accessed and which is completely independent from the room. Business guests are provided with wireless Internet access and a complimentary newspaper.

The Marengo Cafeteria-Restaurant offers you to sample a wide variety of dishes based on the typical cuisine of the province and region, including tapas on the menu.

The property is set just 500m from the Maria Zambrano train station, the Port of Malaga and next to the underground station.

Getting there

Guests arriving at Malaga airport can choose between the following transit variants to get the hotel, namely: by bus EMT-19 departing each 30 minutes from terminal 1 and going to the Plaza General Torrijos; by taxi at the arrivals terminal, which approximately costs €13; by train departing from terminal 2 and stopping at the City Centre Malaga-Alameda.

The property is next to the underground station with direct communication with the airport and just 100m from the Alameda Principal and Avenida de Andalucia where you will find the main inner-city bus stops. Very comfortable room in a good location for the city centre of Malaga at a reasonable price and the Hotel ist very close to the beautiful oldtown lots of nice restaurants.

Air conditioning not really effective and poor selection of breakfast and the staff in the cafeteria do not understand a word of English.
