The young lady receptionist there helped me a lot re the confusion of tour operator about location of picking me up, the hotel was very clean and comfortable, the price was quite good.

That is all I would have liked to have paid, the qouted prices on the hotels website are approximately 200GBP per person per night exc breakfast.

Quiet location close to city centre and the entire hotel is like a huge art gallery.

Good location - close to the center and the hotel is very charming.

Its location, just a couple of blocks from the key city center attractions, is very convenient.

They arranged our tours and our flybus back to the airport.

Then with the elevators broken we had to carry our bags to the taxi down three floors.

The bedrooms are of reasonable size and even the single rooms have a desk/minibar/recliner and refitted bathroom.

Bed was comfortable, lots of chairs and couches in the room.

The rooms are small - mine had king bed, desk and small fridge.

We got a junior suite, which had a good-sized bedroom and attached living area, with a love seat, desk, and TV.

Some small issues re TV channels not working and feather pillows and duvet ( would have prefered a hypoallergenic choice) Bathroom small for a big guy but shower and bath was very good.

Breakfast was sufficient, the restaurant was amazing though with very good food.

Breakfast is quite good, there is nothing missing from the usual list of hotels breakfasts.

My room was fine and the food in the restaurant was really good.

The room we had was clean and food in the restaurant was good.

A great seafood restaurant located in a house and offers all types of dining from mid to high prices.

Location was perfect, the hotel staff was very helpful and the service was excellent.

Our stay at the Holt Hotel was wonderful and the reception staff were more than helpful.

Additionally they will give you free passes to the Laugar Spa in town which is worth about $50.

The hotel has a small parking in case you have a rental car.

Unlike for earlier reviewers, I received free unlimited wireless internet access.

$60/day for high-speed internet sets a record, even compared to London or Tokyo.

The rooms are clean, restaurants in Reykjavik are much better than expected.

Rooms are average in size, very old-fashioned but clean and everything works.

The area was quiet, we liked that there was a car park and other good alternatives were situated close to the hotel. Service was great, the high speed internet connection was highly appreciated and bar were brilliant - simply designed for lounging around in. Breakfast was free and dinner was exceptional.

Convenient by bus and good location. Hotel is lovely throughout and the prices are not too bad either. The large italian style leather sofas and the staff is very friendly. The rooms are clean, restaurants in Reykjavik are much better than expected.

Excellent Location and good value for money. A great seafood restaurant located in a house and offers all types of dining from mid to high prices. Nice lobby, very friendly staff and i was surprised at confortable the bed was small looked.

Certainly a great base from to enjoy the City of Reykjavik or from to take any of the multiple day tours on offer and the hotel is a good location to the restaurants. The Front desk staff we very friendly, high speed internet.
