What I really missed: ok to pay the high price but what to differentiate from other luxury hotels?
Overall I would say the hotel is of a good 4 star standard, but with 5 star prices.
Excellent hotel staff, large building and absolutely amazing considering the price.

Apart from the style and the location, the room was clean , beds were okay and we had a nice bathroom.
We had a decent sized room, but the room only had a very small window so not much natural light.
The room was like a pigeon-loft for EUR 300.

Had booked a "Double Deluxe sea view" at a price of EUR 555 (approx USD 750) room only (one of their most expensive room category).
Large building, very elegant lounge, it has a nice bar and restaurant.
We ate lunch in the bar area which was of a good standard, but was also very expensive (I think it was €21 for a burger and chips).
Then I turned to the concierge and a 180degree change occured: they smoothly managed everything from booking to a posh restaurant to explain how to get to the salt museum.
However the breakfast was excellent and the hotel not crowded.

I stayed with my 20 month old daughter - I felt very welcome and the staff were fantastic - I cannot find any reason to fault this hotel and will certainly return.

The pool was a joke, I could not use it, the lenght was around 15m and there were always around 50 people so pretty crowded.
