The hotel is ideally located, close to the national park, offering ample sightseeing opportunities. The rooms are clean and quiet, with control over the temperature. The staff at the front desk are helpful, offering suggestions for local places to visit and eat. Internet is fast and reliable. Additionally, the hotel is situated near the ocean, providing a beautiful view for guests.

The bath tissue wasn't always replaced when empty.

The Welcome Hotel Hellissandur By Snaefells Glacier National Park is an excellent choice for exploring Hellissandur. Its convenient location near a grocery store and a convenience store makes it even more appealing. The self check-in feature was very convenient and worked perfectly for us.

Clean, nice basic hotel, I greatly enjoyed large rooms and fairly friendly staff. The restaurant was excellent with great staff that will help you make reservations at the one nearby restaurant here, I had delicious dishes. The location was stunning, not too far away from Dritvik and Djupalonssandur.

The staff was very amiable and fairly friendly, gave advice about the city. The room I booked was a nice size and had a comfortable bed, slept well. I enjoyed a comfortable decor and large bathroom.

The check-in process was easy, key codes were sent in advance. Basic but decent rooms. Convenient location off the road. Friendly and welcoming staff during breakfast. Free coffee in lobby.

Free parking on-site provided. Silent and soundproof room complete with good bathroom too, comfortable beds, blackout curtains. All in all decent and ideal setting adjacent to the cafeteria on the other side of the parking lot as well as airport.

Truly exceptional nice basic place, it has particularly good location close to an amazing national park, the snaefellsnes peninsula, and restaurants and shops. I greatly enjoyed outstandingly accommodating personnel that ensures guests have a quite comfortable stay

Stayed here for New Year's and had a great experience. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and warm, making for a pleasant sleep. The view of the glacier from the room was stunning, and the hotel's location near Snaefells Glacier National Park was a big plus. Additionally, the self-made croissants during breakfast were absolutely delicious.

One downside was the lack of staff at the hotel. Check-in and check-out were done through codes, which made the experience a bit impersonal.

The hotel was located in a remote but breathtaking area, with stunning views and plenty of natural sights to explore. The breakfast served every morning was varied and delicious, and the staff was attentive and friendly. the hotel provided clean, spacious rooms with fully equipped private bathrooms, which made our stay quite comfortable.

The hotel's pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable, and the chairs' upholstery was stained and uninviting. the size of the rooms and bathrooms left a lot to be desired, with tiny showers that were difficult to use comfortably.

The location of this hotel is absolutely fantastic. It's close to the ocean, right next to the stunning Snaefellsness glacier, and just a short distance from the national park. The views from here are breathtaking. Additionally, the staff at this hotel were friendly and attentive, ensuring that all our needs were met. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, with nice mattresses and a good bathroom. We even had the option of an extra bed or a room with four beds, which was great for our group. The breakfast provided was delicious, with nice bread and a variety of options to choose from.

It was great that the hotel was within walking distance to a gas station and small convenience store, which made it easy to purchase snacks and drinks.

The lack of staff was extremely frustrating and made it difficult to ask questions or receive assistance when it was needed. The automated check-in process didn't work for some guests, causing confusion and annoyance.
