At reservation MasterCard was acceptable, but we could only pay with cash - they excused, but had had the problem for some time - poor info !!!

The finished rooms were charming, but most of the hotel was under construction at the time of our visit. The breakfast was nice, and the location to the towns activities could not be beat.
The halls and many rooms were under construction and there were safety concerns with the children.

The hotel was located within the city walls which was very convienent. It is undergoing reconstruction which did not interfere with our stay. The rooms had new carpeting and paint. They were comfortable and clean. Breakfast buffet was very good.

excellent location, but expensive for what you get and the room we were in was rather smelly from the smell of kitchen, even though we were on the second floor!!! Felt very unclean, had delightfull red lipstick marks on my breakfast glass on second day. Staff were ok, but they forgot to tell us when we arrived that they only accept cash on departure so make sure you have enough cash with you to pay. We wouldn't stay again.

The location is excellent.
I did not appreciate that I was asked for cash when booking in. The booking form clearly stated that the hotel \i was told there was a problem with their 'hotspot' wireless internet, but found this excuse a bit lame. Also, we were catching a train at 8am and had presumed that breakfast would start at 7am, but it only starts at 8am and there was no option to have an early coffee.
