Hotel Goldener Hecht Heidelberg - 海德堡

Perfect location for Heidelberg; right next to the historic bridge.

The location was awesome as it was in the center of the old town, right next to the old bridge "Alte Brucke".

Loved the location of this small hotel -- it is on the corner looking directly at the towers of the Alte Brucke, the old bridge.

The tourist area and old town are easily navigable by foot.

We used the hourly Lufthansa coach from Frankfurt for our transit to and from the airport rather than the train; return ticket 35 Euros ( valid for a year).

Our room was small, but it had a comfortable king size bed.

It could not handle our family of 4 in 1 room, however, so I had to stay in a tiny one-bed room next to the larger 3-person room.

I know you don't go to Europe to lay down in your room, but after a long long day of walking, its nice to have a really comfortable bed.

Bathroom&toilet was clean and breakfast staff were friendly.

Our room was nice and clean, however the bathroom was in need of some updating.

Breakfasts were very nice but the communal breakfast room was incredibly small so you had to book for a certain time so they could stagger breakfasts as they couldn't fit everyone at the same time!

The breakfast was small but ample and tasty and kept us going for a few hours until lunch.

The bedding is great and the breakfast is large.

Breakfast was more than I could ever hoped for.

Also the restaurant downstairs was very good.

The receptionists and breakfast staff were friendly and the morning receptionist was helpful with directions to exit Heidelberg.

The staff were friendly, the morning receptionist was helpful and beds were clean and comfortable.

The reception suggested a great place for us to go for dinner.

Location was perfect, heidelberg was a lovely place and the staff was very polite.

As already noted, the parking is a bit strange but not that big of a deal.

The only complaint I have is that parking was a pain.

Also, this parking structure is public, so there is a chance it will be full when you get there.

Room was clean, breakfasts were very nice.

The room was small, but clean and neat with a good view of the old bridge tower.

Bathrooms clean, food just fine and explained very politely in good German.

The lady on the reception was very helpful and our room was nice and clean.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room cosy and clean.
