Marvellous location for our needs, really close to Jungfraujoch, First, the Pfinsteggbahn up to tobaggoning, and an easy train ride to Lauterbrunnen, Murren, the nearby train station, and planning hikes. Also, on the mountains. Very pretty room with exceptionally comfortable bed, a balcony, a fireplace, and a writing table.

Its staff was exceptionally nice and exceptional. The breakfast had superb choices and there were croissants and yogurt.

Liked the price of our superior double room and its essentials.

The location was magnificent, near to Grindelwald and the Gletschergarten Chalet-Hotel as well as restaurants and shops. It also was to the ski lifts.

Thanks very much for a REALLY GREAT stay in the winter. The rooms are extremely spacious and absolutely spotless, the bar is nice. The breakfast is sumptuous, I really enjoyed it. It offers great location adjacent to the centre of town, train, bus and cable cars and in the midst of stunning mountainscape. Also, to get to a mountain cable car you’ll need to walk 10 minutes.

A friendly and homely hotel with beautiful balcony views, a clean room, and entertainment facilities. The staff were helpful and even picked us up from the train station.

Not obvious to find.

The hotel has been in the family for 4 generations.The proprietors are very pleasant and helpful. Our room (#23) was spacious and charming. The view of the Wetterhorn from our balcony was pretty amazing too. We only ate breakfasts in the restaurant, but those were very good. The location of the hotel (on the upper end of Grindelwald) was great. It was quiet for sleeping, yet the shops & restaurants in town were readily accessible by walking (about a 4 minute walk). The hotel had plenty of parking too. All in all, a lovely place with really sweet hosts. We will go back!

Fantastic hotel with very good wi-fi, the location was AMAZING easy to walk to everything. Our room was unique and stylish, had down pillows. Extensive breakfast with pastry and beautiful views, for instance and the staff were extremely accommodating.

our stay in grindelwald was absolutely perfect. gletschergarten exceeded our expectations with their amazing staff and breathtaking views. the location was also ideal, avoiding big tourist groups. it truly felt like paradise on earth.

Beds were a bit worn.

The staff is great, beds are comfortable, and the views from the room balcony are amazing. Quiet and private room. Best quality is the location. Highly recommended, especially over a more commercial town.

We felt like we were staying in a cozy alpine home, filled with history and artifacts. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful, providing us with valuable advice on train and bus timings. The views from our room were simply breathtaking, showcasing the beauty of the surrounding mountains. The hotel also offered the convenient option of purchasing the Jungfrau Pass, which made transportation across the region a breeze. The fresh and plentiful meals, both at dinner and breakfast, were a delightful treat. I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable stay.

The breakfast is healthy and sumptuous, I thoroughly enjoyed croissants and yogurt. Everyone is exceptional and owner too. Its location is wonderful & beautiful, near the railway station as well as train, bus and cable cars. Also, it's 1 mile away from a mountain cable car.

This hotel is conveniently located near the First gondola, allowing for easy access to the mountains. The rooms on the top floor with a large balcony offer breathtaking views of the beautiful mountains. The breakfast is outstanding, with a variety of delicious breads from the bakery across the street and a stunning view to enjoy while dining.

No improvements needed, everything was perfect.
