Hotel Gansevoort is an ultra modern resort style hotel which provides an incredible 360 degree panoramic view of New York City. The hotel has 187 spacious sleeping rooms and 23 suites with lovely bay windows. The décor is sophisticated and minimalist using a palette of neutrals and grays with blackberry accents. The super luxurious bathrooms feature richly textured walls, ceramic interiors, custom designed stainless steel sinks, and Carrara marble. The luxurious Duplex Penthouse has a Jacuzzi, fireplace, pool table, and private balcony. The heated outdoor rooftop pool with underwater lights and music is open 365 days a year and makes this a very popular spot with hip New York celebrities. Albin at the bar were simply the best, the complimentary breakfast was OK.
