• The bedrooms are interesting but comfortable. The hotel itself is very handy to the shops and eating places.

  The hotel is located near the city centre with many sightseeing locations nearby such as Palacio de La Moneda, Museo Catedral Metropolitana, and Cerro Santa Luc? We were greeted by a charming concierge at the reception desk upon arrival at the hotel. Though the maids could not speak English, they still tried their best to provide assistance when asked. Our room was outfitted with lush European-style furniture. Despite the elegance, the beds could have been more comfortable. The bathroom was classy and extremely clean. We had some trouble in our room with connecting to the Wi-Fi network, but there were chairs and small tables in the hallway where wireless access was fine.

  Dinner at the hotel restaurant was a bit pricey.

  The hotel has a very good location, It is located at Paris-London neighbourhood, a very beautiful one.

  Rooms are nearly destroyed, elevators are old.

  The waiters argued that the prices on the list were without taxes. Obviously we refused the bill before we spoke the manager. The day after we had the discussion with the manager who explained that "we are in Chili" and that tax is due if you do not pay in USD?

  So we just crammed into one room to shower and clean up after a long trip to Santiago.

  In contrast, another hotel we stayed at did not charge the "early check in fee". They were supposedly undergoing renovation in 2007 but as of early 2008, the rooms looked tired and worn. Also, to get to rooms, you have to take an elevator up 4 floors, and then change to another bank of elevators. I suspect that's where they have the older rooms.

  Some of the staff speaks english and it's location is good for getting around Santiago. Good places to eat are a cab ride from the hotel.

  Our room was large, comfortable and freshly decorated. The reception staff in particular were excellent. The taxis working with the hotel have multilingual, friendly and knowledgeable drivers. We didn't eat an evening meal in the hotel as there are lots of local choices, but the breakfast buffet worked fine. There is a pool and small gym on the top floor but it is quite small and didn't look heavily used.

  The hotel is located in the lovely neighbourdhood of Paris - Londres, very central, and you can visit all the main touristic atractions by foot. The staff is very friendly, and willing to help with all the necessary touristic bookings. Also, the hotel is being renovated, and the new rooms are very pretty and confortbale.

  The service was friendly and helpful; the room excellent (perhaps a little dated); the breakfast (included in the tariff) plentiful; and the location ideal.

  We were actually greeted by a doorman in a top hat who brought in all our luggage from the taxi. Desk staff were extremely helpful and someone always spoke English. My room on the 6th floor was large and very nicely appointed with large windows and a couch. There is some exercise equipment on the top floor of the annex, but the pool wasn't very nice. The lobby is spacious and very pleasant, as is the breakfast room. There is a wonderful Italian restaurant on O"Higgins, just a few steps away.
