Very good location and compared to other hotels in Zurich at a similar price.

The location was great indeed, the windows were very good at soundproofing.

The location was perfect and the staff was pleasant and helpful.

Good location and the best thing about the hotel is that is very central.

you need no other travelling means to get around in the city and the hotel is in very central location.

It is also close to the station and river.

Rooms are all individually themed - mine was 'Feuer', I wasn't quite sure if I was going through the fire escape on opening the door but the room was clean and well equipped, if not all that big.

The room was small and the bathroom tiny.

The hotel Franziskaner in Zurich has nice rooms, they are very clean and the bathtub is really nice.

Rooms are not spacious but are spotless, comfortable, and smartly decorated.

There is no ability to control the heat in the rooms.

The breakfast is in the bar downstairs and ok.

The breakfast buffet included various coissants.

The Franzikaner is really close to the Newmarkt area, full of bars and restaurants and maybe the liveliest part of the city at night.

Breakfast is served in the reception area and it can get a bit cramped.

The service is not so good, I guess it is mostly students working at the reception.

Great position, central Hotels and staff very helpful and multilingual.

Other pluses include the staff who are quick and friendly and helpful when I'd forgotten a Swiss plug etc.

If you are afraid of elevators, don't book it, there is a small kind of old looking elevator which you have to take.

The rooms were very clean and updated, the breakfast was excellent.

Stylish hotel in the heart of Zurich, the room was very nice and clean.
