Hotel was comfortable modern and gorgeous, I liked the stay.

Everything was amazing, magnificent location really close to the vineyards in the background and the many local wineries, RELAXING experience. The breakfasts here were very very good with a plentiful supply of orange juice, fresh fruits plus croissants. There was free Wi-Fi in the rooms and the service in general was fantastic.

got double room with a balcony, very comfortable beds, a great view as expected. the location was stunning and particularly good - a short way from everywhere we wanted to go. the hotel was a convenient base for enjoying a really quiet area.

Possibly the best and very relaxing stay on a Business Trip. Nicely furnished and brand-new units with a great view, an enormous bed, for example. Excellent helpful stuff, incredible location in Douro valley. And near Douro river & green terrasses on the hills, nearest bar or restaurant, and excellant products of the many local wineries.

I had the most wonderful stay at Folgosa Douro. The hotel is perfectly located along the scenic N222 road and right by the beautiful River Douro. My room, number 284, had an incredible view of the river and was spacious and clean. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I even received a bottle of Port as a welcome gift, which was a delightful surprise. The continental breakfast was laid out beautifully on each table, offering a wide selection of delicious pastries, fruits, meats, and cheeses. The hotel also has a snack and bar menu for a quick bite or refreshing drink. I slept soundly in my room and woke up feeling refreshed and ready to explore the charming town of Folgosa. I highly recommend staying at this small yet clean hotel for a great price.

The service at this hotel was phenomenal. Staff members went out of their way to accommodate our needs. The hotel sits right across the street from the river and boasts very nice views.

The only thing that was missing was that the hotel is not within walking distance of many shops or restaurants. It is a bit remote, which can be great if you want peace and quiet, or not so great if you want to be in the center of the action.

The menu at the restaurant is quite common without presenting many typical Portuguese dishes but with the awarded DOC Restaurant just ahead, competition is not easy and maybe they decided to have an alternative offer.

The value for money at this hotel was just about perfect. From the affordable prices to the attention to detail, everything was excellent. The staff provided a superb service and the basic amenities were more than satisfactory. The rooms were new and clean, and the view of the Douro river and valley was absolutely amazing. The location was ideal for touring the Douro wine area, and the breakfast provided was quite good.

I've just had a fantastic stay at a hotel with wonderful river views. The rooms were clean and cozy, and my favorite part was enjoying a cup of coffee on the balcony overlooking the river.
