Hotel Florida Lisbon - 里斯本

The situation is actually quite good since is just North of the main squares, hotel Florida is in a great location.

Positives: A good location in central Lisbon, on the Avenida Liberdade, close to shopping, restaurants, strolling, and a taxi stand.

Convenient location of the Florida, the hotel's breakfast provided a good choice of hot and staff was friendly and helpful.

We tried all forms of transport, buses, trams, metro, trains and were pleased that we experimented.

The airport is just a €15 taxi ride away.

We had booked a triple room and was allocated a suite on the 9th floor, a twin bedded room with tv and wardrobes, drawers etc plus bathroom with bath/shower/sink/toilet & bidet.

Clean rooms, ours was spacious, with a second room - bedroom or sitting room.

Also the lounge area had another tv plus mini bar and a sofa bed.

Staff ever so friendly, pleasant at checkout and coming bachk to a comfy bed after a day of walking.

New bed linen, delicious breakfast and a huge choice.

Bar prices expensive compared with local bars, but equivalent of good restaurants.

I had thought the hotel was closer to the main restaurants and bar area when originally booking it but we overcame this and were pleased with the service we received there.

Service at the desk and the breakfast restaurant are spotty.

The breakfast was great as was the view from the breakfast lounge - the Marques de Pombal square and interesting hotel decorated in an old American movie athmosphere.

You have a walk into Lisbon (no bars and restaurants nearby) but its a nice walk - past all the designer shops.

Breakfast buffet was good but front desk staff were distinctly unfriendly and seemed reticent to accept web-made hotel reservations.

Good location near bus stop or 15 min walking distance to historic center, great hotel - great service and staff once again friendly and helpful.

Pleasant staff at reception gave good advice on local eating, got us taxis etc.

Helpful staff and the receptionist could have been more client friendly.

Front desk service was so-so (apathetic as one reviewer said).

Location is superb and bus service are very near the hotel.

It's expensive so its best to organise a wi-fi account before leaving so that you can pay by the minute.

The older gentleman works the front desk was very friendly and room was reasonably sized and clean.

The rooms are wonderful, clean, bright and large.

Lots of room, very clean and quite modern.

Furthermore staff very helpful, nice bathrooms and breakfast was excellent - very fresh.
