Hotel Felix Cambridge - 剑桥

Great close to Airport Melbourne location, hotel is well placed to visit Cambridge being an easy 30 mins walk into a city that is not car friendly and the staff are welcoming and professional.

The location was ideal and hotel Felix was very clean tidy and modern.

You can walk into Cambridge, but its not a nice walk along that main road, and we couldnt find any other route; a taxi cost us eight quid, but there are buses.

First impressions of the hotel were positive, it is situated away from the centre of town on Huntingdon Road and although slightly too far to walk, it is an easy bus or cab journey.

Our room was large, clean and comfortable with a huge king size bed and the bathroom was clean and reasonably spacious with both bath and separate shower.

The room was modern, very comfortable, fabulous deep bath and plenty of space in both bathroom and bedroom.

Our room was very clean, very stylish and the bathroom was to die for - largest bath tub and shower I have seen in a long time.

When we checked into our room we found that it was unclean - hair in the bath and all over the bathroom floor, unwashed glasses in the bathroom and the bedroom floor clearly hadn't been hoovered.

The hotel itself is very nice - I had a good sized room with comfortable bed and nice bathroom.

There were so many guests complaining about wrong breakfasts or lack of them that after waiting 20 minutes and having asked three times if I could order a coffee my husband and I gave up on breakfast and left the restaurant.

Service, room (large, cool, stylish) great and bar and restaurant (Graffiti) the service, drink and food are all superb.

Also booked the restaurant for an evening meal and arranged for champagne and flowers for the breakfast on the day of our annivesary.

They said they'd serve breakfast on the balcony but we chose to have it in the restaurant-i recommend the museli!

The interior was pleasant, staff were attentive and excellent restaurant you have broad choice from 2 menus breakfast in room was outstanding.

The girl who made the reservation was excellent- very friendly, as were the reception staff throughout the majority of our stay.

We were greated at the Hotel by the general manager who very bizarrly was working on reception- is the hotel that bad that they cannot employ staff?

Staff were excellent from the moment we arrived until we checked out - nothing was too much trouble for them (they even served my wife from the restaurant menu 30 mins after service finshed and brought it to our room).

Easy access to the city centre, the pleasant grounds in the hotel is set and staff very helpful at the front desk.

What the hotel lacks is landscaping around the grounds and it has no gym/swimming pool.

I find it extraordinary that anyone would open an upmarket hotel in this day and age, particularly one with so much space around it and not have a gym.

They offer you passes to a gym in town, but that's 3 miles away.

Our room was clean and very modern, and a bit different to the usual hotels we stay in - when we usually end up in a Thistle hotel, or one of the big chain type of hotels.

A very pleasant stay, very helpful staff and the room was really clean and comfortable.

I always find the rooms clean and they have a nice contempary feel.

A definite roller coaster ride, as when you get to the room, it's clean, comfy and has a few luxuries.

The room was very clean and modern with everything you'd expect from a 4* but was unbearably hot.
