Eridanus Hotel Athens - 雅典

We thought the location was great, we walked to all the major tourist sites (Acropolis, Temple of Zeus, Olympic Stadium etc) and it was great to see Athens on foot.

The area is quaint and it really is a fantastic location because right opposite Thessio is an entrance to all the Acropolis sites and the lovely promenade full of cafes leading up to Monastiraki Square.

This is a well thought out boutique hotel in an excellent location.

We came out of the metro station early in the morning after our trip in from Athens airport, and the first sight we saw was the Acroplis right in front of us, with the sun rising on the left and a beautiful peach-coloured sky.

If your walking to or from this hotel from the metro station just know that if you have alot of baggage with you it might be better to just take a short taxi ride to the hotel.

The flat screen TV, marble bathroom with full body jet shower, Hermes bath products, digital room control was excellent.

Eridanus is clean, the rooms are very nicely decorated, the bathroom is amazing and there is fee based internet in your room!

The room was furnished extremely nicely with a flat screen tv, desk, comfortable queen bed and a nice wooden balcony (however it viewed the building next door - this is our one complaint from our stay).

We had two deluxe rooms (2 adults and 2 teenagers) which were both comfortable (excellent beds), clean and well stocked with complimentary water and soft drinks, robes, thick towels, good quality toiletries and even personal sponges.

The room was lovely, with timeless decor, a very comfortable bed and a sitting area.

We dined at the Michelin restaurant next door and compared to Michelin restaurants in other parts of the world and the general cost of food in Europe, this was good value for money!

A hearty breakfast (included) can be enjoyed in the restaurant or delivered to you on your balcony overlooking the Acropolis (a ways off in the distance).

In the bar, the drinks for the restaurant are prepared and staff keep walking up and down to serve them which makes it more a place of work than a place to sit back and relax.

The hotel restaurant is a French, but while the service is good the food is average or below.

If in your room, you can order from the very same restaurant the typical hotel-coffee shop stuff (salad, sandwich, pasta) and that is good.

Service: The reception and bellboy were of great service and were helpful in accomodating our questions and needs.

The service at the front desk and restaurant were excellent.

It was so awesome to be greeted at the front desk by friendly staff, and then relax in a air conditioned room.

We were greeted by the excellent front desk staff and our room was upgraded to an Acropolis view room.

People walking by on the wood floors all night and housekeeping got started very early in the morning dragging what had to be either dead bodies or blankets in plastic bags to and fro incessantly from about 6 am.

Housekeeping only available during specified hours - we returned from dinner one night at ~10 pm drenched in the torrential rain and asked for an iron to dry our clothes which we had to pack for a flight early next morning.

We were told Housekeeping was closed and nobody else in the hotel has access to an iron before 7 am the next morning!

Also the staff are pleasant and the rooms are clean.

My room was spotlessly clean, the breakfast was very good.

Clean & comfortable room and good breakfast.

In addition, there was a very cool electronic menu at the door that you could press a button for "do not disturb" or "please clean room" etc as well as a doorbell outside the room (although I'm not quite sure if it was functioning properly.

Clean, modern, new, spacious room with high class amenities.
