El Convento Hotel San Juan - 圣胡安

Excellent Tapas restaurant on location and the hotel is located in the heart of the old town near all the shops.

The location in the middle of Old San Juan was very convenient to explore the old town and also close to the dock.

The hotel is in a great location, close to pier, in Old San Juan and shopping, great resturants, the forts all within walking distance, the hotel will even assist you in arranging tours to El Yunque Rain forest, the Phosphorescent bays, etc.

We had a wonderful stay, from the time my husband and I arrived via taxi from the airport the bellman, Luis was there to assist us, with our luggage and a smile.

Checking out itself wasn't a problem, but catching our taxis to the airport with all of our luggage was another situation.

The bed was comfy, the room really clean and decorated nicely, the bathroom was very clean and the continental breakfast was abundant!

Our double bed room had a nice semi-firm bed and pillows, marble bath, hot shower, frig, safe, iron, lots of hooks, free high speed internet, dimming floor lamps and lots of drawers and hangers.

The room had a marble bath, bed was very comfortable and clean, high quality linens.

The room was clean, the bed comfortable, the bath small, but more than adaquate.

No problem, they hadn't a two bedded room available for that night and instead gave us a suite with a bed settee in the living area.

There are several restaurants on site serving tapas or more substantial meals, and breakfast in the courtyard was delightful.

Breakfast on the patio was excellent with a good selection of food available and then later in the day the same area provided an honour bar.

We ate in the tapas restaurant on the second floor and the breakfast restaurant on the first floor.

The inner courtyard was very nice, with breakfast in the morning and a tappas bar overlooking looking it - which ended up being our favorite place for drinks and snacks as the food was excellent.

There is a great flamenco restaurant across the little square outside the hotel and La Bombombera can't be beat for any meal especially breakfast.

Impeccably and frequently cleaned, the service from all staff was beyond expectation, (UK-USA electrical transformer loaned at no cost), the daily wine & cheese reception (comlimentary) was superb and the restaurants dished up very tasty food.

The front desk staff was more than a Concierge, The room was small but very comfortable and charming.

And, the added bonus is that the service from all staff we encountered (including waiters in the restaurant) was efficient, warm and hospitable.

Also, the pool area is on a terrace outside of the 4th floors, so if you are staying in a room on that side of the 4th floor, you might have people in the jacuzzi looking into your room.

In the 4th floor you can find a jacuzzi and a small pool in a very cozy terrace.

The pool is very small, but the jacuzzi is nice to unwind in after a day of sightseeing and the view from the terrace is nice.

El Convento is trying to install Wi-Fi & DSL but had recent issues with viruses, etc.

Our room is always ready we arriveand I mean clean and perfect.

Staff was very accommadating, clean, updated rooms.

The facilities of this small boutique hotel (member of the prestigeuos Small Luxury Hotels of the World) are gorgeous and clean, including the bathrooms!

The room was clean and very quiet, and well kept during our stay.

Our room was very clean and a very good size.
