Bottom line: this is a tour hotel in which you pay a higher price for those services but you will be able to do better for the money elsewhere.
We had a nice dinner at the hotel the night before, but felt it was overpriced.
Location excellent and the hotel indulges you in the medieval times.
Despite assurances that the hotel would immediately pay for all damage, I am still arguing with their insurance company.
Great location in historic city center, more interesting towns in Germany and this hotel offers nice rooms.

Not only that, there were cars, buses and vans zooming by all night long.
The room (209 Euros/night) was very strangley configured with a partial wall containing the beds, and blocking it off from the very small sitting area and windows.
Moreover the hotel provided free rollaway bed realized there are 3 of us.
Each room was unique in its layout and furnishings, and each boasted large, well-appointed bathrooms.
Our hotel room was awsome with a hugh bath.
Our room was one of the best, as we were guests of friends, and so had two double beds and a rollaway/military cot for our daughter, and a balcony.
Service, hotel room, restaurant (including breakfast) and hotel in general wonderful and staff extremely helpful.
However, if you're looking for a typical German meal, I wouldn't eat in the hotel restaurant.
The hotel restaurant has fantasic gourmet meals at very reasonabl prices, the rooms overlooking the Tauber Valley were being renovated and the food was quite delicious.
The restaurant is well laid out for both private conversation as well as meeting other guests and the food was quite delicious and well presented.
Breakfast is included and is well laid out, with food for Japanese, Brit and American tastes, as well as the meat for the Germans.

The hotel staff members were very attentive, and the general manager checked with us several times to ensure that everything was meeting our expectations.
The staff are all very helpfull ,and there is no language barrier as they all speak very good english.
The meals i had in the resturant were of good quality and were supported with very good service.
We thought the staff generally stuffy and aloof.
On check in, the valet parking attendant took my car.
Even worse they gave me no discount off the bill, and even tried to charge me for the valet parking!
The rooms are clean and tidy and are of a reasonable size.
