Hotel Edelweiss Manotel Geneva - 日内瓦

The hotel location is excellent, situated about a 10-minute walk from the train station, which incidentally is an ideal and cheap method of travel to/from Geneva airport.

It is in an excellent location close to the Lake and very good for exploring everywhere and with some lovely little coffee shops nearby.

The central location to transport and we parked at their nearby hotel as there is only on street parking.

Taxi was expensive from the airport, buses would have been cheaper, you need to take the no 10 bus to Navigation.

It requires a metro and bus ride so if you have a lot of luggage and aren't sure about how to get around like we were you may want to opt for taxi to the hotel.

The bedroom room, too, was very pleasant, though the bed was rather on the hard side compared to what I am used to.

Our room had a double bed (very hard mattress), flat screen TV, mini bar, adequate cupboard and drawer storage space and safe (which unfortunately wasn't working).

Well-appointed room in a hotel quite near to the centre of Geneva, nice staff and comfortable bed.

Do not stay at Manotels if you are American as you will be sorely disappointed with their air conditioning, bed quality (thin), and room quality.

If you want a nice comfy stay, want to pretend you're in a bed and breakfast in the middle of the alps but actually have a nice hotel room instead in a major if soulless city, and you want free wifi, come here.

Even the bill was reasonable and we'd had breakfast delivered to the room and a three course meal with drinks in the fab restaurant!

The staff was nice and accomadating, and we loved the hotel restaurant (the restaurant was one of few restaurants we could find in the area with a baby chair, and that was not entirely smokey).

The free breakfast in the restaurant was great, especially the tea and coffee.

There wasn't an in-room coffee/tea service, but the continental breakfast offered in the restaurant could be brought up free of charge.

Breakfast: Very nice breakfast served in their restaurant.

The best feature,though, was the service from the front desk staff.

Pleasant reception staff, clean room and very good breakfast.

The hotel lift (elevator) is freakin' tiny!

The hotel lacks a fitness center, pool, business center, and other such larger hotel amenities (although they may have reciprocity with a health club if you ask).

The elevator is tiny (could not fit our baby stroller), and there are 5 or 6 stairs to enter the hotel (no ramp for handicapped or baby stroller).

Since I was travelling on business, the free wireless internet was a blessing.

Free wireless WWW for every guest (great for the business traveler or Skype user).

It was very clean, the bathroom was spotless!

Our room was clean and tidy and the shower was really powerful.

Our rooms were spotless + the staff were so friendly - always smiling + saying hello.

Lovely clean, homely room and very good value by Geneva standards.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable and the room was large for a 3 *** hotel.
