Good location and not only some digital channels as in other hotels.

The location is fantastic, hotel is lovely and the staff are particularly helpful and cheerful.

Great location for York centre and elegant hotel.

Great placement - about 5 mins into town and good location.

The location of the hotel was within a short walking distance of the centre of York, the service was excellent – friendly and efficient, the bedroom was comfortable.

The best thing about the superior room is the roll top stand alone bath in the bedroom - luxury and pillows are so comfortable.

In addition bed was very comfortable and towels etc were all great.

Lovely Egyptian cotton bed sheets and restaurant is good.

Lovely public areas and great Hotel. Moreover good reliable service and the deputy manager was amazing. The bedroom was fine, the bar staff were friendly and served well thought out food.

For a day at the races was a perfect location, the Bistro was good value and the reception staff were particularly helpful and friendly. In addition bed was very comfortable and towels etc were all great. The food was excellent and we booked in for dinner at the bistro had a nice ambience.

Good position 5 minutes walking distance from the town centre and lovely hotel. Attractive public areas in a historic building and attentive staff. Proper TV satellite and great bar service.

Too many additional costs considering the basic price, vegetarians aren't very well catered for at breakfast and wine very expensive in Bistro.

Just far enough out of the city centre, the hotel is known for its extensive stock of superior wines and waiting staff are attentive. Lovely Egyptian cotton bed sheets and restaurant is good.
