Hotel Du Vin One Devonshire Glasgow - 格拉斯哥

The hotel location is great - a pleasant stroll from Glasgow's west end, with all the restaurants there.

Peacefulness not normally found in such a busy location, also the Hotel itself was Beautiful and dining staff on the Saturday evening were excellent especially the Sommelier Laurent was knowledgeable.

Nice relaxing surroundings, through pleasant streets and the hotel is in a quiet location.

We did cheat on our last day and get a taxi back (the Glasgow weather was more than a little damp) but that was ~ £7 so not unreasonable compared to the metro, especially if there are a few of you.

Taxi into the centre of Glasgow was reasonably priced.

Our room was more like a suite, four poster bed with a hallway leading to the bathroom which was one of the nicest ones I've ever seen, rolltop bath and twin showers.

The room was fabulous - massive bed, plasma TV, Bose sound system, with a bathroom as big as some Glasgow hotel rooms (Grosvenor Hilton, you know who you are).

The room was contemporary but homely with a huge very comfortable bed but the best bit for us was the bathroom, enormous with a beautiful roll top bath and a huge separate shower.

We were not let down by the rooms either - stylish bedrooms, great bathrooms (roll top bath by the window with candles plus a power shower big enough for 5!

When I opened the door I couldn't wipe the smile from my face, HUGE bed, HUGE plasma TV, large corner sofa a HUGE roll top bath in the room area near the TV.

Didn't experience the food as ate elsewhere in the city but the 'Whisky Bar' is definitely worth a visit.

The restaurant and bar were also very good.

As other reviews have noted, it's five old mansion houses joined together, with an amazing restaurant and whisky bar.

Breakfast - a good buffet of cold foods, with an interesting menu of hot food.

We weren't going into town for drinks as we had booked a meal at the Hotels ROOM restaurant, I feel that the skills of a real barman would have been a good idea!

The service was extremely accommodating, and the staff went above and beyond numerous times to make our stay easier.

They fabulous interior was mind blowing, their service was excellent - on arrival the concierge helped and the room was fantastic.

Located close to sights that the adventurous traveller would love to explore, this hotel is luxurious and well presented staff priority is providing excellent customer service.

In addition the concierge staff were excellent, room was lovely and the food was superb - best steaks we have ever had.

With a lovely lounge area, private gym, sauna, jacuzzi and 4 poster bed, what more could you ask for.

Having two bathrooms, a sauna and gym equipment!

There is also a nice lobby lounge (very cosy, with fireplace) were afternoon tea can be had - BUT it must be requested 24hrs in advance because the sandwiches and cakes are made specialy.

The hotel was extremely clean, and the room was exactly as expected.

The bathroom was quite large and modern and very clean.

Minor gripe that room wasn't ready till 4pm, although they do make this clear on their website.

The "Please Do Not Disturb"/"Please Clean My Room" signs say "Don't Come In" (which I think is very rude) and "Do Come In".

Breakfast in the room was a nice continental breakfast with a lovely fresh fruit compote and freshly squeezed apple juice as well as the naughtier treats of a variety of pastries.
