Its quite a functional hotel, price: very cheap and lobby looked good.
Good location, depressive hotel located near Porta Susa and lobby 80 style large.
So the Diplomatic had the perfect location: I was in the lobby within 5 minutes of my train's arrival and staff was very courteous.
Great location, convenient for train and is one of Torino's many colonnaded streets is very useful the weather is inclement.
Near Metro/Railway station and nice hotel.
Central train station opposite and near to Metro.
I found the room was very large by European standards and the bed comfortable.
Bathroom was a bit small, with shower (comfortable) and hairdryer, but I saw that on the same floor there were also larger rooms.
Reception, room, bathroom , everything is way too old, sadly decorated.
Rooms: Some refurbishing works are going on , I had a room in the old part.
Service was good and friendly, room was clean, bathroom was fine.
Food: good choice at breakfast: cheeses, jam, cereals, fruit, fresh fruit salads, bio-marmalade, celiac food (the first time I have ever seen offered in an hotel!
Friendly staff, good cable coverage on tv and excellent buffet breakfast.
Style: hotel located in an old building, probably built in the ‘20, lobby ’80 style large with bar.
The breakfast buffet was one of the best I've had in Italy.
