Hotel Des Trois Couronnes Vevey - 沃韦

The outdoor lounge/bar area is exceptional, the hotel is situated in a central location and the staff are charming and attentive.

The hotel is situated in a central location and has stunning views of Lake Geneva.

The location was great for exploring the town and just walking the promonade.

Transfers to and from the hotel are very expensive, so I'd recommend getting the train which is direct from Geneva Airport to Vevey, and then getting a taxi the other end.

You can board a steamer to Lausanne, Montreux, Chinnon castle or even cross to France for the day, catch cable cars and narrow gauge trains to surrounding summits, travel the Route de Vins by car (or if you are energetic by foot!

To our surprise, this turned out to be a suite, with a separate lounge, superb antique furniture, huge marble clad bathroom, and separate wet room shower.

Good quality bed, efficient staff and the excellent room rate put paid to this matter.

In the old town, about one minute from the main square; bedroom not very spacious, but use of well-appointed bathroom and kitchen, plus sitting room with balcony.

Our room was extremely comfortable, with good storage and lighting, a spacious and thoughtfully appointed bathroom with a separate cloakroom off our small entrance hall, with toilet and wash hand basin.

We were on the 3rd floor and had 2 balconies - 1 from the bedroom (I booked a twin room) and 1 from the bathroom.

The buffet breakfast and subsequent dinners were equally impressive, with an extensive choice of breakfasts, and lovely choice of Lake Geneva fish and delicate Swiss wines, for lunch and dinner.

Cosy bar, very good restaurant with fine food and perfect (Swiss) wines.

Moreover the restaurant was excellent for breakfast.

The breakfasts were of a fantastic standard including a huge variety of healthy options and cooked to order options like omelettes, Eggs Benedict and great local breakfast sausages.

The staff, service, bar and restaurant were all exactly as you would hope for a hotel of this standard.

This was our second stay in the Hotel Des Trois Couronnes, a superb Hotel, Historic, member of The Leading Small Hotel chain, rooms with a tremendous view over the Lac Leman, perfect service, from the concierge until the room maid.

Indeed, the service was not perfect - a forgetful moment here or there - but in general the staff were friendly and eager to talk.

An updated grand hotel awaits you and great concierge service.

Wonderful turn-down service, the concierge was extremely helpful and the unit in our friends slightly smaller room worked better.

We inmmediately sampled the indoor pool, sauna and steam room - all very Feng Sui - then retreated to the relaxation room in the beauty spa.

Besides this all they have a good gym with various machines and a really breathtaking swimming pool and spa.

We began each day with a swim in the hotel's spa pool which was heated to about 27% C and is as beautiful as it looks on the website.
