We ate at a couple of restaurants close to the hotel and would recommend them as being good value for money.
I would definitely recommend this hotel and given the service and comfort, it is good value for money.
The hotel breakfast buffet cost some outrageous sum of money so we never tried it.
To sum up this hotel, I would have been happy at £200 a night, so to get three nights at this price was a rediclious bargain.
The hotel was situated in the perfect location to explore this very scenic and romantic city.

The hotel location is good, in close proximity to bars, restaurants and the centre of Bruges.
Lovely small outside court sitting area and the hotel is ideally located for exploring Bruges' historic centre on foot.
Once you are here, everything in the old town is accessible on foot (take a map).
The bedroom ( number 143 an executive room ), was incredible with a fantastic decoration, very confortable bed and a nice bathroom ( shower and bath separated ) it hasn´t canal view.

We had a lovely huge room with a bathroom bigger than our bedroom at home, very atmospheric with the best bed I've ever slept on, and I stay in LOTS of hotels.
There is a minibar, safe, TV, air conditioning (not needed for us), nice bath room with 2 sinks, towel warmer, bath tub, separate stand up shower, bath robes and slippers (the best on our two week trip).
July 2005 in the blue room with a king bed, shower stall, tub, fireplace all in a huge room with a wall of french windows.
The bar is also fantastic and he suggested us two good restaurants to eat traditional -topical food.
My husband and I booked the "Cupido Arrangement" which included champagne, a superior room with canal view, dinner at a local restaurant (Den Djiver - the best dinner we ate this entire trip to Europe), and champagne buffet breakfast.
The staff were Very friendly, helpful and courteous, breakfast was just wonderful, and we really enjoyed the swimming pool and jaccuzzi, and the small cosy bar.
The restaurant next store was terrific, and one night we couldn't find a seat in the bar (cute but not big) so we had a drink across the canal at the Orangerie.
We had a two night "cupid package" that included breakfast and dinner one night in a local restaurant chosen by the hotel, and welcome champagne for 600 Euros(or $800 approx.
The staff here are faultless but the hotel could possibly do with another member on reception, as the bar is just round the corner and the receptionist can be a long time serving.
The front desk even suggested we check the room before booking - a sure sign of confidence and service.

When this happens people leave their car keys at the front desk and the staff will juggle the cars around so people can get in and out.
There is a small pool, Jacuzzi and sauna.
The pool and jacuzzi temperature could have been warmer - but that said my husband was more than happy - and it was lovely to have these facilities and that of the steam room and sauna.
Also, the sauna, jacuzzi and pool were available until 2am.
The interior was tasteful and I found the room to be very clean and relaxing.
The rooms are well appointed and very clean.
Room was spotlessly clean and the small bar was cosy and quiet.
Room was comfortable and sauna for guests use was clean.
Bathroom was clean and the food was unimaginably good.
