Hotel De Londres Rimini - 里米尼

A very good location, comfortable hotel and the staff were wonderfully kind.

I guess a lot of people come by cab or tour bus from the airport but if you are travelling independently, even if you have a map, it is difficult to see.

Buses run right outside the hotel to various locations and the hotel has bikes available if you would prefer to cycle rather than walk.

The bathroom was spotless with a great shower and water pressure and the bed was incredibly comfortable.

The bathroom gets a 9/10 (even from my daughter) and although there was no bath tub there was a very nice shower and again the decor was very bright and classy.

And although we were told it would be a continental breakfast - it was a full breakfast bar with fresh fruit, juices, meats, cheeses, pastries, eggs, etc.

Secondly, the hotel doesn't have a restaurant, but in my opinion this is not a concern given the many fine restaurants within easy walking distance of the hotel (the fresh fish is fantastic).

The hotel is ideally located in the Rimini resort area, near all the other big hotels and hundreds of restaurants and shops.

There are plenty of eating places as a lot of the hotels seem not to have restaurants at night.

Breakfast:- As a complete bonus they serve breakfast until 1200 so no having to get up early on your vacation to eat.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 days in June 05 and was very impressed with the location, decor, food, service and lovely staff.

Overall the Hotel de Londres is a very pleasant hotel and if you can live without a swimming pool then I can thoroughly recommend it for a holiday (as well as a business trip).

In summary I would recommend this hotel although it has no pool so if you are here for a week or so this might affect your choice given the restrictions on the beach which I will go into in a minute.

When we arrived we were very tired and a bonus was that they were serving snacks and fruit juices on the small terrace outside for free between 1900 & 2000.

Wi-Fi access is available but not free as I assumed from previous reviews.
