Hotel De La Plage

The location is very good, ideal stopover right across the road to the beach and we stay here regularly as the hotel is well located for channel crossings.

Comfortable overnight stop, just across from the beach and easy walking distance to the town.

Only negative, is the window in the bedroom with a single bed under it which my 3 year old liked to look out of.

The room was ok, basic and in need of refurbishment, not helped by one bed-leg collapsing!

However the room smelt sweaty and the actual bed had a very unpleasant smell.

The only thing that slightly spoiled it was the window was a little small and we had to sit on our daughters bed to see the beach.

The room we stayed in was rather basic but ideal for overnight stay, the bathroom was a good size and there was complimentary tea and coffee.

We had planned to eat at a fairly up-market restaurant in the town but were tempted by the hotel's attractive looking dining room and the meal was first class.

The bar is good also and well the waiters working in the restaurant work hard.

Rooms are modern, the Bar Restaurant has a nice cross section of people using.

Well located, hotel bar & restaurant was nice & overlooking the beach and the staff members we saw were helpful and welcoming.

The reception staff were excellent but the waiter in the resurant rather off hand and inclinded to rush us at evening meal.

Well situated, a good place to stay and reception staff particularly attentive and pleasant.

Moreover the reception staff were excellent, the water was only warm we arrived in the afternoon.

Location excellent right on the sea front, comfortable hotel the rooms are well appointed and the reception staff didn't seem to understand the issue.

Staff are very friendly, food is tasty and he recommended a wine for 10 euros turned out very nice.
