Hotel De La Paix Lugano - 盧加諾

Convenient way to the lake, the location was fine and the atmosphere was very friendly.

The location was fine, central to everything.

Near to boat station for Lake, good location and a real plus for this hotel is its spacious.

Position is great, the bus routes are simple and the park in Lugano is well used.

Spacious bedrooms {we had a suite overlooking the lake and the view was very nice.

Courteous staff in reception, bed were comfortable.

We've paid only 215 CHF per night for the room (brunch included) and we were upgraded to a suite.

The hotel has a good and spacious rooms with balconies (balcony is common, at least in 5th floor, so make sure that you have your door to the balcony locked if you are not in your room) and at least from our balcony we had a nice view to the lake.

Bathroom of the room is quite nice, excellent Italian restaurant down stairs.

We did not eat in the restaurant but the breakfast buffet was very decent.

Spacious and clean bathroom, excellent well presented food in a choice of restaurants.

Plenty of clean towels at the poolside and good breakfast.

They gave great restaurant suggestions and were very nice.

There were plus points - one of the receptionists was very good, and the Italian restaurant (all red and white checked table cloths like it used to be in the seventies), was excellent and good value.

I have never come across such unhelpful and unapproachable reception staff, in particular the senior receptionist.

Excellent service and the check-in staff were fine.

Moreover employees at the reception desk were friendly, room was very spacious and comfortable, breakfasts were good.

If you visit Lugano, you're better to rent a car (parking is included with this hotel).

The pool was also great (there's not a lot of places when you can go swimming around the lake) and they also have free internet access.

Also swimming pool is a nice "surprise" because it can be quite a hot in Lugano.

The SWISS COM mobile wireless internet works in your rom, and we used our laptop to write to our kids and look up things.

Staff friendly and efficient, nice over-long tub for soaking, very clean sheets.

The hotel has a good, staff always friendly and room was very clean.

Staff were great too, room was clean and food was good.

The rooms and common areas are clean, and the staff is friendly, helpful and multi-lingual.
