Because of its very centered position and many bars nearby, it can be noisy all night long...

      Great location.

The rooms look out over a very busy square, and it is very noisy at night. The bar in the hotel plays very loud music and it was difficult to get a good night's sleep with all the noise. The rooms were basic, clean, but over-priced.

The location was great although noisy at night. The beds were wonderfully comfortable. The room was clean.

there were no coffee or tea making facilities in the room which would have made it more pleasant.

The hotel is situated in a beautiful square with a lovely balcony, the staff were very friendly and attentive. The room was very clean and the beds were also spotlessly clean and comfortable.

The room was quite small and the toilet looked as if it was in a cupboard. I did not like the plastic flowers in the room. The room overlooked a lovely square but it was a little noisy at times all through the night, which may not have bothered a younger couple, but I found it disturbed my sleep.

      Great location

Room door didn't lock in room 30 as 02/05/11. Told due to be fixed.

Very good location, facing one of the central squares, although this does make it noisy at night (bring earplugs). Cozy bar/restaurant downstairs with terrace on square serves a good buffet breakfast and also reasonable meals through the day.

Small room, some wear and tear, noise from the bars on the square but this is what you sacrifice for a lower room price in expensive maastricht

fantastic food, i love the maastrichts zuurvlees (so i actually remember the name of the dutch dish).and good staffs, friendly and efficient. and rooms are clean, nicely decorated (at least good for a budget hotel).

well...the rooms do have several things that i didnt like.first no wifi coverage, they have KPN free wifi in the restaurant but no signal in the rooms. second. my room has a tiny bathroom (other rooms might have bigger ones). i didnt know until i open the door of that (actually i was think about a closet or something). third, the it seems there is club around the hotel and the music runs until 2 or 3 in the night.

The location in the centre of Maastricht

We were given a room on the top floor (Room 28, I think) Going up the stairs there was a strange smell which got stronger the higher I climbed. The room was very dark with a roof window and quite airless. If the window was opened the bed would have been soaked by the rain. The strange smell was very strong in the room. I immediately decided because of the smell and the lack of windows (it was like being in a prison cell) that I was not staying in that room. We received a refund and immediately left the hotel. It was extremely difficult to secure another hotel for the two nights, but anything was better than sleeping in that smelly airless room.

Rooms are really small, it's hard to pass your bed. Just in front of my window there was a disco place, quite laud.I thought it would be worse but I fell asleep with no delay. The pillows are extremely soft, give no support, and the bed very springy, not my preference. Location is perfect, right in the very center of the city.

Too small room, pillows, springy bed, disco place by the window.

Friendly staff, right on the Markt square of Maastricht, room was decent and clean.

The beds we had were quite uncomfortable: a thin mattress on a spring bottom, making you sink into a 'pit'.

Great location smack bang in the middle of everything. Staff friendly yet busy made welcome and able to relax. As a family of four we enjoyed our stay and would return again.

Because of the location and the time of visit, very noisy to the early hours (take some ear plugs if you want to sleep). Parking @22 euro's a day as couldn't find the 7euro car park.
