I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel De L'Empereur in Valkenburg for a short vacation. The location of the hotel is absolutely fantastic, right in the center of this charming town. Within minutes, I was able to explore the shops, restaurants, and other attractions Valkenburg has to offer. The staff at the hotel truly went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. Ms Jan, in particular, was extremely helpful in assisting me with parking and selecting the best room. The information she provided about the surroundings was invaluable. The hotel itself is cozy, clean, and comfortable. I cannot wait to return here in the future. Highly recommended.

The restaurant served fresh dishes from the region. Perfect for meeting and treating myself. Convenient for urban cosiness. A carefree break thanks to hospitality, location, and Limburg attitude. The meat from Ambachtelijke Slagerij Kusters was delicious. The restaurant offered an unforgettable experience with scrumptious dishes and delicious drinks. Made me feel right at home.

No tea making services in the room - because who needs a hot drink in a hotel room? Such a useless feature.

The staff at Hotel De L'Empereur were incredibly helpful and friendly. The location is perfect, situated at the end of the main restaurant/bar area and close to shops and supermarkets. Valkenburg itself is a beautiful town and we had an excellent 3-night stay with great weather.

The location was mind-blowing, with secure parking for our car and easy access to restaurants, shops, and supermarkets. The continental breakfast, continuously refreshed, was super tasty, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Prior communication with the hotel was excellent, and they arranged transport for our group to the concert. The customer care was jaw-dropping, as the manager put a cover over our windscreen on a frosty morning and provided a takeaway breakfast that fed us all day. The hotel itself was cozy, clean, and comfortable, with amenities like free Wi-Fi, a restaurant, flat-screen TV. it was a truly excellent and unforgettable stay!

During my stay at L'Empereur, I found two features of the hotel database to be quite advantageous. the central location of the hotel was ideal, as it allowed for easy access to all nearby facilities, shops, and restaurants, all within walking distance. despite the slight shabbiness of the room, it was still comfortable enough to provide a decent night's sleep.

I must mention that the noise level during my stay was extremely disruptive. Even though I understand that staying in a town center comes with a certain amount of noise, the bass vibrations from the local clubs were unbearable.

It's slap bang in the center of Valkenburg, so you can literally stumble out of bed and be surrounded by awesome things to do. We rented electric bikes and had a blast exploring the area. There are so many cool sights and attractions around, it's insane. The staff was super helpful, especially Ms. Jan who hooked us up with the best room and gave us all the info we needed. We can't wait to come back here, it's seriously the best.

The only thing we wished for was more options for young party-goers. We had a great time exploring the town and doing outdoor activities, but we would have loved some more nightlife or a cool bar at the hotel.

Had a great stay at De L'Empereur. The hotel is centrally located, just minutes away from the train station and close to shops and restaurants. The staff and management were very friendly and helpful. They even arranged transport for our group to the Andre Rieu concert. The continental breakfast was continuously refreshed and delicious. The secure parking was definitely a plus, as we felt safe leaving our car there. a fantastic location with excellent amenities and service.

This hotel is perfectly situated right on the pedestrian precinct, making it easy to explore the nearby bars, restaurants, and shops. Within easy reach, you can find all the facilities you need, including a supermarket. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel also offers secure parking in a central location, which is a bonus. The large double beds and TV channels with Netflix provide a relaxing atmosphere.

The lack of a kettle in the room for an early morning drink could be improved.

This hotel was great value for money. The prices were reasonable and the attention to detail was commendable. The location was very central, making it convenient to explore the town. The rooms were a good size, the bathroom was spotless, and the beds were comfy. The staff were very helpful, especially in guiding us to the city center. Despite the rooms being noisy at night from a local disco, this was compensated for by the hotel's central location, allowing easy access to shops and restaurants.

All was satisfactory.
