Hotel De France Cannes - 戛纳

The location is excellent, the hotel is located very well and the personnel is very nice.

Clean spaceous rooms, friendly staff and excellent location on the main shopping strip.

Excellent location to the shops and 100 meters away from the beach.

Great location, excellent value for money and the staff were courteous and attentive.

When I arrived in Cannes, I was pleasantly surprised to find how clean and centrally located the hotel was - beaches, shopping, dining, train station and bus from Nice airport were all within a 5 minute walk.

We were given a smoking room although requested a non-smoking at the point of reserving via Booked.net and for some reason we couldn’t change rooms until the following day.

Other than that the rooms were clean and tidy, although if you are unfortunate enough to have a room facing Rue De Antibes then you may find yourself waking up to building works across the road very early on in the morning for the next few months!

Downsides: very small rooms with glass bathroom door (if you are staying with someone not very close, not ideal!

Room what we expected and overall very good value for money.

Very comfortable rooms and super nice breakfast lady.

The breakfast area is very small as is the bar.

The hotel gave us the room on the 1st floor which is right outside of the breakfast, bar area.

Breakfast slightly over priced for what it was but the total package great value for money.

This well located hotel, just a few minutes walk from the Croisette and seafront and near restaurants, bars, luxury shopping boutiques etc.

Breakfast was very basic and the coffee took nearly half an hour to arrive.

Location was ideal for the Palais de Congre and staff were very helpful.

Was a nice refuge from the city and the staff was perfect.

The afternoon receptionist was exceptionally friendly and helpful.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and had good knowledge of where you should eat.

Unfortunately the beds were not particularly comfortable, but the Hotel de France is a perfectly decent simple, clean place to stay and there is a pleasant roof terrace with good views, potted plants and sun-loungers.
