The pool was wonderful and the location was gorgeous. The single beds were comfortable, but the double was rock solid.
Our room felt institutional. Without much carpeting it was not as homey and comfortable as it could be. I'm guessing the annex, where we stayed is more that way than regular guest rooms.

In summer only the "annexe" is used, with some large rooms at higher prices. The annexe is only 300 meter from center town. The town is very central in the perigord noir, with enough restaurants but still small and quiet. The staff was helpful.
Although the more expensive rooms are larger, with fridge, they lack international T V channels, and especially WiFi connection. For WiFi you have to go to the hotel, 300 meters away. These two things can be solved easily, which would make the annexe more attractive.
