With a famous bakery, such as Gerard Mulot around the corner and the all the places around rue de Seine, there really was no need to pay the high price that the hotel charged.

The hotel is a great value, considering it’s prime location, and I recommend it.

The location was perfect and the price was extremely reasonable for such a great hotel!

With so many great hotels nearby, you could do so much better for the money.

It is in a lovely location and close to everything.

And to make it more challenging, a location that was easy to reach tourist sites yet offer the experience of cafes, bistros, and shops on quaint small streets in a charming neighborhood.

The hotel is in a great location--many shops, cafes and restaurants nearby, and an easy walk to the RER station.

The taxi stand was around the corner as was a Metro Station to get you anywhere you needed to go.

Make sure you take a taxi and not the subway from the train station - it is too long a walk with luggage!

I stayed in Room 40 (150 euro per night) for 3 nights of my stay which had a double bed and a nice bathroom with a good sized tub and plenty of instantly hot water.

The rooms were lovely and immaculately clean, bathrooms nicely finished, huge bed, room was small but we weren't planning on running around it or spending much time in it anyway.

We stayed in the family room, which consists of two connecting bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and the other with a full size bed (smaller room) and were very comfortable.

The suites contain two rooms, each with a bath, with a very small entryway between them--so you could close the outer door, leave the inner ones open to join the two rooms in a suite.

So much space and the bathroom was super clean and modern and even had a separate toilet room.

There are many cafes and restaurants nearby as well as shops and cinemas so you truly feel as if you are in the heart of Paris.

Germain des Pres is very hard to beat in all of Paris and the hotel is very well located on the quiet Rue Gregoire de Tour but steps away from all the wonderful restaurants, art galleries, cinema, metro odeon/mabillon and shops in the area.

After overnight flight, we ate breakfast at the hotel and just as we finished the room was ready @ 11:30am.

Germaine de Pres is a great neighborhood scene with lots of restaurants, brasseries, and cafes, fresh flowers, bakery, art galleries, shops; in short, everything you likely came to Paris to see.

We walked to Paul, a famous bakery/pastry shop on Rue du Seine, and had a wonderful breakfast for much less.

All the staff at the front desk are friendly and helped with restaurant bookings, calling cabs etc.

The front desk staff spoke English, and were very helpful.

Front desk employee Vincent told me to cancel via the Web site and he stated that IF THERE WAS ANY PROBLEM WITH THE REFUND THEN HE WOULD SPEAK WITH THE MANAGER ON MONDAY AND HAVE THE PROBLEM RESOLVED.

At first, we were worried about climbing the last flight (the elevator stops at the 5th floor) but they knew we were with friends and gave us the most wonderful spot!

The lounge by the lobby was excellent for our group to meet up with newspapers & internet.

Housekeeping even cleaned my son's bottles while we were out during the day.

My only real complaint is that the hotel advertised wi-fi internet access, which I was counting on while travelling.

I loved my remodeled, spotlessly clean, marbled tiled little bathroom.

Our rooms were clean, nicely furnished and of a high standard compared to a lot in Paris.

Bathrooms were modern -- and everything is spotless.

The staff is friendly & helpful and our room, altough a little small, was charming, clean and perfectly adequate for the amount of time we stayed in the room.

While the rooms may have been somewhat smaller than we are use to here in the US they were very clean, well appointed and the loaction was great.

I've stayed in two star hotels in the area that had more charming and nicer rooms. There is an attractive lobby lounge that you pass from the street, but I felt that guests were discouraged from spending time there. The breakfast was nice if you are hungry enough to eat 10 Euros worth.

My room had no charm to speak of and was cheaply furnished and quite ordinary. There was nothing really terrible about this hotel, but I felt it was very overpriced even for the discounted rate I paid.

I loved my remodeled, spotlessly clean, marbled tiled little bathroom. Vanessa and Vincent, at the front desk, handled me with care even though I never told them why I was there. The hotel manager and owner, Andres, took time out of his morning to walk me to a place to find wine for friends back home. The largest internet cafe in Paris is just a few blocks and fabulous restaurants abound. If you are looking for a clean, quiet and comfortable hotel, centrally located, then Hotel de Fleurie is a place I would recommend.

I stayed for five nights in August 2004 with my two daughters (age 15 and 11) in Room 34, which was located at the front of the hotel.

Our room was noisy in the evenings and early in the morning.

This is a great little hotel in an IDEAL location in St Germain. It's a quiet street, which is not true of much of the 6th arr.

The family suite was all that we had hoped for. It was wonderful to have our own suite with the ability to close each "bedroom" door at night for sleeping. It was immaculate and my husband was relieved to find a "western" tub/shower with full shower curtain! The room with the king bed faced the street, which could be noisy at night, but that didn't bother us one bit since our French is not good enough to understand normal French conversational talk. Thus, it just became background noise and we slept with the windows open each evening. The staff could not have been friendlier, conversing with us in French or English (whichever we felt like at the time), giving our girls the opportunity to try out their French.

My daughter and I stayed here for 8 days and found the staff friendly and helpful, the position perfect for transport but we could walk most places as it was so central. Our rooms were clean, nicely furnished and of a high standard compared to a lot in Paris. There are some rooms that are a bit dark as they face the side of another building.

There are only two rooms on the six floor - directly across from each other). We had a lovely queen size bed and the room was charming (small by American standards, although we stayed at the Ritz Carlton in Jamaica at Christmas and I can honestly say it wasn't much bigger!
