Hotel Costa De Oro Mazatlan - Mazatlán

I'ts located in a very central location of the Golden Zone, a little on the north end, and it's easy to get everywhere you want to go.

Service was OK and if you want to be located on the main strip in Mazatlan, location is OK too.

The location is absolutely perfect, this place needs some TLC to get back to a good standard and friendly staff check out Costa de Oro.

Mazatlan is BIG), the taxis are cheap (around $5 to $8).

Has very reasonable rates, provides for some interesting taxi driving to get you to the lobby area and going into the historic center to eat at El Tunel.

The rooms were cleaned and bed linen and towels were changed every day by 2 pm.

The beds were just like very other bed we've experience in Mexico; hard, and piled high on a bed of concrete.

I can't say much for the rooms that are not the one bedroom suite - they all looked pretty small.

Each room had sliding shutters for privacy, one room with a king size bed, the other two doubles.

Beds were hard but we asked for a bed pad and it was much better.

We had a great view of the ocean, but people would look into the windows as they passed, or while sitting right beneath our window, on the busy walkway between the restaurant and pool bar.

The location is near several restaurants and great place to go after the bar closed at 10:00pm.

Nice water, a really good coffe bar and restaurant Pedro y Lola - one of the best in Mazatlan.

Sunday morning the restaurant offered a breakfast buffet which was wonderful, but I was disappointed when told that Sunday was the only day the buffet was offered.

Excellent maid service, the room was very clean and food was good at the restaurant.

We had terrific service from the concierge, but I can't say the same thing about the staff at the check-in desk.

The maid kept our room very clean, and the front desk staff was helpful and friendly.

All the restaurants in the area are good, waiters make this a very friendly hotel and the front desk staff is luke warm.

In addition the staff at the hotel are all very efficient and the maid service is great.

Get your chair at the pool reserved early, but had the same problem two years ago at Sea Garden.

We stayed in a garden view room, which had an ocean view from the balcony and overlooked the pool from the outdoor "hallway".

The jacuzzi was nice and big, the food was hot, one of the best waiters G has worked there since 1984.

In addition the rooms are very nice and clean.

The bathrooms are clean, the food is awesome.

The room was very clean and of course the service was wonderful!

Our room had a spectacular view of the ocean and the hotel was very clean.

This hotel is fantastic, the other staff members are also great and the rooms are neat and clean.
