The Claret hotel, once was a post office, now is fashionable hotel located in the ancient quarter of Bercy of Paris surrounded by such famous attractions as the Bastille and Gare de Lyon, the French Finance Ministry, the Palais Omnisports auditorium and the Bercy gardens. The nearby subway station of line 14 can bring you to Madeleine.

There are only 52 guest rooms in the hotel, which makes it a very cozy and homey place. French windows with wrought-iron balconies show a breath-taking view. All rooms have direct phones, computer plugs, color TV, bath and shower. Rooms for handicapped and non-smokers are also provided.

Bed is comfortable and good limited selection of cafes/bars/bistros very close by.
To have on-site parking was a real bonus and the hotel had did better to create less.
Staff freindly and helpful, clean rooms, very nice breakfast.
